Yes. If you want to hit a body part only once a week you're sacrificing frequency so you'll have to increase something else.. usually volume and intensity. That way the muscle is absolutely taxed during that single session.

Since you like walking a lot, I'd recommend that u walk as your form of cardio and do basic excercise. No weights.. try this: do 50 push-ups per day, 50 body squats and 50 pull-ups (assisted). As basic as it gets. Once your body gets used to it, start to use weights
