I remember watching a Rachel Ray show on TV once (long time ago) where she interviewed a woman who had apparently lost 70 - 80 lbs, merely by walking on the treadmill for 2 - 3 hrs every single day at a slow pace of 2.5 - 2.7.

I am not the person who would exert myself at maximum capacity every day and feel motivated to repeat them... that is why, an easier route for me.

I want to lose 50 lbs weight and as much body fat as possible, since currently I am at 40% BF.

A very useful reply! I am going to try the deadlit, lat pull down/pull up, etc that you mentioned. I need a change from elliptical and walking workouts every single day! Thanks.

Did you try battle ropes? Every article on the internet that I browsed calls it bada** workout for the abs... (I am yet to try it, but planning to).

I used to weigh 229 lbs and was morbidly obese 3 yrs ago. Then I lost about 35 lbs of weight. Right now I'm still morbidly obese at 193 lbs for 5'6" but I lost 16 lbs in the past 2 1/2 months. Hello all, Very sorry I have been away on a mini-vacation and couldn't get to the computer earlier. I thank all who replied! I mean, working out after a small breakfast, for example. All I have for breakfast is 1 mini bagel (125 calories) and 8 oz. skim milk (90 calories) and after that, I feel fine for a workout. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, that was very informative!

True... perhaps core workouts can help build nice muscles there which will get revealed when the fat goes away.

Thank you all so much! That was really very helpful. As suggested, I will lower the damper setting and row continuously for 10 min, then break and repeat the workout for another set. The replies had been very insightful. I have not enough words to thank.

Thank you so much for your replies! Basically I am concerned that I am giving a full 1 - 2 min break between each set of 25 strokes that I do (which only takes 1 1/2 min each time), will my workout be effective? I am unable to let go of the break time because I am only a beginner, and I pull each stroke at a pretty good…
