I can't eat sweet and salty at the same time...except for bacon/sausage with pancakes/waffles. They're yummy dipped in the syrup. I don't like milk unless it's a freshly opened carton. Then I can have a bowl of cereal, but only one. Then the milk smells and tastes weird to me. I don't like eggs unless they are hard boiled…

I was getting my hair cut (a completely new style - shaved on the sides and back and long on the top...it's cute, I promise!) on Saturday and the girl cutting it told me she wished she had a slim face like mine! I was shocked. I've always seen my face as round. So, that felt good.

Zodiac diet: Exercise that gives you the illusion of merging with the universe—yoga, rock climbing, running. To avoid going off the deep end, opt for a rational, three-meal-a-day diet—and hang on to your scales. I don't think that could have been more vague. Blood type diet: Avoid corn, wheat, buckwheat, lentils, tomatoes,…

Haha! I talked to my daughter about them. "They're everything I can't have (she has an autoimmune disease and has cut out dairy and gluten) but all my friends say they are ridiculously good. I mean, it's a cinnamon roll pancake." So, the review is in!

My daughter works at the one in Oklahoma City. I'll ask her if she has tried them yet and let you all know. And yes, they look yummy! I'm not a big pancake person...but yummy!

I do this and have for years, even before my weight loss journey. Not every night but often. I want something sweet so bad. I asked my doctor if my blood sugar was getting low and my body was telling me to do something about it. According to him, it could be... I just make myself a 1/2 PB & J or grab a small piece of…

I'm so jealous of most of you. I only go once (maybe twice) a week. However, I read this thread yesterday and ... yep, I pooped last night! Woohoo! And I lost @ 3 lbs. So, that's good. :D

I have two jobs and I've worked at the part-time job for @ 5 1/2 years. One of my co-workers got me a black cardigan for Christmas (side note: I was planning on getting one after Christmas, so this was awesome!). Anyway, I pulled it on without looking at the size and it fit great, Later, I took it off and looked at the…

So sorry, I just saw this. They are super easy. You literally just layer the ingredients and then bake at 350 for @ 30 minutes. I don't always measure - just sprinkle the ingredients on top of each other until it "looks right". I've been making them for so many years that I can do it with my eyes closed :) 1 stick butter -…

A couple of them: - Went to my doctor today for a six-month check-up. He's really proud of my weight loss (22 lbs according to their scale and I was wearing a sweater dress and boots) and says I'm right on track for @ 1 lb/week loss. If the trend continues, he will take me off Metformin when I go back in June. - I took my…

I saw one of my former students (that I had @ 2 years ago in class) a week ago. I saw him again last night and he told me that he told his girlfriend (another former student) that I had lost a lot of weight and was a "toothpick". At 179, I'm far from a "toothpick" but it made me feel good that this teenage boy actually…

I have a couple. I've lost 27.8 lbs and am @ halfway to my goal. The other night a co-worker told me "you're getting too skinny". I just laughed. Another is that two other co-workers asked how I'm losing the weight and I told them: counting calories and logging everything on MyFitnessPal. Both of them asked if that was…
