The water balloon is a great analogy, that's exactly what it's like. For having lost 50#, I'm rather surprised how large my rolls still are, but I feel good and I see it and feel it, so I'm not concerned.

Mine is the opposite, for months, I was loosing weight in the sale, and I was tightening my belt a bit more, but the pants fit the same. It was weird.

I started in Sept 2019, lost 30 pounds, fell off the wagon somewhere around Feb. Haven't been able to get back since... Hopefully this helps.
