I started cutting calories less than 2 weeks ago. Before that I was eating whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. I was “hungry” the first week and constantly thinking about what I would eat next. It's almost cool enough to start really enjoying vegetarian chili too. That's always an awesome thing to make a big pot of. Freeze or eat it for a week.

By carbs, you probably mean processed foods? My breakfast of a sweet potato mashed up with banana, honey and cinnamon was very heavy on the carbs, and full of nutrient dense calories

Bag of frozen edamame in the shells. Microwave 5 minutes. Great snack high in protein!
