Ya'll convinced me to join Strava (well @tarun_yadavA convinced me I could meet my dream runner woman/partner) I can't believe it's been a year.

@martaindale That's better then my last HM by 7:10! What an uplifting race report. I'm so happy for you. Everything went according to plan, your midrace/pace confidence, and your post-race thoughts on busting 2:00. Great!

I ran 4.03M at 14'11 out at the beach. It's blustery and overcast, about 63 °F.

@Mari33a The charger for my watch has given up completely so new one ordered. Hopefully it won’t take too long to arrive. I should have had one ordered before as it was playing up but was in denial as over the past few weeks we’ve had lots of tiny issues with updates & internet Timing! My charger acted up this morning and…

I ran 1.03M at 14'30 I am planning to try a more vigorous run tomorrow so for tonight I was thinking of just laying around, then decide on a short shuffle just to keep loose.

Here's mine from this morning. She seems nice. I wonder if she run? In Miami, I specialize in the medical device industry and own a high-end private health club. I have always believed that health is the most valuable asset in life and fitness is one of the best ways to stay healthy.

This weekend I'm going to the beach to run…look out for my 12:01!

Another run today, 2.0M at 14'58. I'm feeling 99% recovered....I hope to go a good long time without any new surprises.

A nice slow run 2.0M at 15'10 The big news is super sore from yesterday's "Leg Day" at my gym, wow.

I am cutting myself off from posting myself anymore on this thread. I am trying to cut down on my social media usage and have replaced it with this as I keep checking for new posts on here way to much. Sounds like a plan. A suggestion, as you were writing about motivation, perhaps you can trying making checking here on…

@daria0919 - A couple of friends and I signed up for the Richmond HM in November! I hope you will be around and we can have a meet-up. That’s great @Teresa502!! I’m planning on doing the 8K and would enjoy a meetup with you and your friends! Great, that is a nice area. I visited my Uncle and Aunt in Williamsburg, VA a…

Another easy shakeout run. I hope to stretch it out a bit next time. 1.00M at 14'37 94 °F today in San Diego.

Nah, I missed my chance to run with @martaindale when she did the princess thing up the road at Disneyland a couple of months ago.
-
Good evening everyone, I was able to run. It's nice to be heading back toward normalcy. 1.01M at 15'52 @SummerSkier Those look like princess ballet slippers(with black laces.) Very nice.

I'm impressed with how you typed your runs here, it's good looking formatting. I'm still trying to figure out good formatting and editing on this new bulletin board software we have here.

@lynn_glenmont Perhaps I wasn't clear. Sorry. Let me try again. People who respond here on these boards come in two varieties. Group 1, people who have used GLPs and have first hand anecdotal evidence and Group 2 there are people who have not used GLPs. My point to the OP was sort of an alert. OP requested tips from people…

I gave running a try ... nope, I need a couple more days.

December 14, 2025 in College Station, TX. (Between Austin and Houston) Registration hasn't opened yet: the web page says they open in Mid-May. I think getting a rock solid commitment from our Texas cohort is precursor to me getting worked up and planning the race. @Scott6255 @martaindale @kgirlhart @SummerSkier Ya'll going…

Welcome @karina3 Typically on MFP in the "Challenges" category of the forums we have one post for the whole month. (This is the May post) Log into MFP, go to the community forums, then look in the Challenges area, then scroll down to this Monthly Running Challenge thread. We keep it going for the month. Put your goals for…

Phentramine & Topiramate did not work for me, I tried it for 6 weeks and it was all side effects. After that attempt my healthcare put me on Tirzepatide (Zepbound) and that been work well for me.

@quilteryoyo I encourage you to embrace the broken forum and give us your large and spoiled pictures. Better to see them "wrong" than not to see them at all.

May Running Goal: 30 miles 6.3 lbs. monthly weight loss (209.3 lbs -> 203.0 lbs) ———————————————————— I'm Chris; I live in San Diego, California. I'm looking forward to a simple healthy month. I'm going to mix in yoga classes this month, probably three or four. It's been over a year, so it's exciting. I'm going to keep…

I'll start in on it. Thanks.

@daria0919 I'm glad to see you back at it. Hanging with grandkids sounds fun. Yes, here's to making it through a month with good health!

I wonder how many of these 10 year/4000+ day user have abandoned the "newsfeed-less" new MFP?
-
Ange, Thank you. Looks like we are all in. I'm ready to sign off of MFP groups. I have 15 years in this place and it doesn't serve me well anymore. Though I am grateful for the ideas, inspiration, and motivation I got here all these years. How will this work best? Tracking on the spreadsheet…and also an email thread? Or a…

I had the post-op call with the doctor yesterday and he gave a green light to begin activities again. I'm taking one more day, and over in "May" I'll get to pretend none of this happened, lace up my new shoes, and get back to running. See you over there. Congrats everyone, it was a banner month of long runs before things…

Tips? Don't listen to people here on MFP who have never used it. They may know a lot of stuff, and have a lot of experiences to share, but they don't have experience with GLP-1. It has been FDA approved for a couple of decades, and it's use cases have grown and evolved over time. You and your doctor are about to see a…

Can we come up with a different name than "image thingy"? I was trying out links, but thanks for posting that one. It isn't the same for most users here, perhaps in your particular "link" use case you aren't seeing any differences.

I'm recovering and on track. It's not super fun or easy, but this is hopefully a one and done thing. I haven't hit my running goal once this year…pretty bad. April Running Goal :30 miles I ran 20.58 miles in April so far. I felt good and was enjoying it…but life sometimes has different ideas.
