I ran 3.21M at 12'11 out at the lake. The plan called it a threahold run.

I also like being coached to do these different types of workouts. I'd never proactively decide to do a sprint/tempo/interval etc. on my own.

Thanks @mjohemme There is some back ground chatter that Zepbound and others may actual be a bit helpful for some with ADHD. It's too early to ready any research on it, it is ongoing. Good luck, and it would be very helpful if you keep sharing your experience with it.

@yirara I wonder what Garmin would say about a kilometer of hiking through deep mud? It looks like a great adventure. Thank you for the pictures.

In what looks like a very competitive age group, she won.

Today is one of San Diego's big races. The 48th America's Finest City Half Marathon. There's an inspiring story of a local streaker lady, she's 80 and she is running it today, her 48th consecutive race. She's done it every year. She runs 6 miles a day.

I ran 4.16M at 12'42 out at the lake. The plan called it an Anaerobic run.

@Mari33a Sorry to hear that the lady in big jeep seem to take this as a sign to go for it & speeded up. I was sure she’d caught me with the wing mirror. I put my fist up & screamed after her. Pedestrians, kids on bikes, runners deserve to be safe from screen distracted inattentive drivers.

I ran 2.13M at 13'21 a slow tour of my hilly neighborhood.

No, unfortunately on MFP these community threads are all that really works. But, you can just keep posting in this thread you created and others might show up and give it some vibrancy. I'm not there yet, but I'll drop back by in a few years and say hello.

I'm wildly excited that my three month old Garmin just showed my vo2 max increased by 1. (I take this and most of those metrics tongue in cheek, though I do appreciate trends if I'm on some kind of a consistent routine.) I'm now a 41. :)

It's miraculous. Good luck with the first week or two side effects most people deal with. The meds don't cause you to eat proper foods and prevent blood sugar drops, the meds make it very very easy for you to do the proper things that lead to proper foods and avoiding blood sugar drops. Good luck!

@SummerSkier It is good to hear you are on the mend from breaking your ankle. Congrats on the MFP logging consistency, great job. I've had a left knee glitch ever since a age 19 motorcycle crash. It flairs up occasionally, but has never caused pain while running, it is always tenderness post-run. It's been HOT for about…

I ran 3.30M at 12'13 out at the lake. It was called a threshold run.

I ran 4.42M at 13:35 out at the beach, before it heats up. The plan called for an hour run.

@AlphaHowls The Four Tendency's was fun. Questioners - “I’ll comply if you convince me why.” Questioners question all expectations, and they respond to an expectation only if they conclude that it makes sense—in essence, they meet only inner expectations. They’re motivated by reason, logic, and fairness, which can lead to…

I ran 3.91M at 13'21 Another hot day. This run had eight intervals.

I ran 3.59M at 13'22. Summer in coastal California is usually August, September, and October. It started. Today was the hottest day of the year. ..and June is the coldest month...and February is the most beautiful and best time to visit 😀

Hey @JaysFan82 What's the latest? How's life and running going?
-
Hello @micukica 1st km 7' 30" 2nd km 6'40"/km It is what it is. 99% of all people did not run 2km yesterday. You doing 2km is actually extraordinary. 30km for the month sounds like a good plan.

Hey @daria0919, "My husband is doing great! He’s back to work." that's such good news. Modern medicine can occasionally be miraculous. What's your running plan going forward?
-
@Laurz9191 Thanks for the travelogue. It is so nice coming here and seeing all the locations we've visited. I enjoy never having to watch and/or listen to cars in (all places) Yup, I could not agree more. I was carless for ten years when I lived in a nice city. Now, I contribute to the traffic, but try to drive as little…

I ran 3.01M at 11'39 over in Mission Bay at I place I used to run a million years ago. I felt sentimental. Out west is the first big fire of the season. From now until the first rain in November or December we're on alert.

Happy Birthday @quilteryoyo 🎂

I ran 3.14M at 12'45 out at the lake this morning. It was a nice clear peaceful run out there.

Hi @micukica, Three things. This is a great monthly challenge to stay connected to running Success here for me has come with taking the :02 minutes a day to post something on the tread... don't ghost it. As a full-time worker it's tricky most of the maniacs here say "I like the quiet time in the morning, feel good getting…

It took a couple of weeks with my new Garmin, until it reported HRV status.
