  • Yes! I want some company to make beige flavorless smoothies that consist of enough calories and proper nutrients to support the average human person for a day.
  • Look on Pinterest using those search terms and you'll find a plethora of recipes.
  • I use these 2 websites for a lot of recipes: Skinny Taste Emily Bites
  • I like to grate a little zucchini into my morning oatmeal and cook it a little extra. I also add a dollop of greek yogurt, chia seeds and unsweetened applesauce. It's delicious and satisfying due to the protein and fiber. (around 225 calories).
  • I'm not aware of a website where you can put ingredients in and they give you recipes. I know on allrecipes.com, you can pick the main ingredient lioe chicken or potatoes, and they'll give you recipes with that as the main focus. I also use Pinterest and you can search for '4-ingredient recipes' or 'recipes beef carrots',…
  • I'm sorry that guy was so rude! But, that was about HIM, not about YOU!! 98% of what other people say and do is about themselves, not us. Maybe he was feeling insecure, so he decided to try and make himself feel better. Maybe he's just a jerk. Regardless, no one has to power to make you feel any certain way unless you let…
  • I would highly recommend speaking to your gastro doc about this. Everyone's triggers are different, so you need to figure this out for you particular needs.
  • Hey there! Detroiter here, now living in Texas. I was a huge Pistons fan growing up - Spider Salley was my favorite. I had foot surgery last year and spent most of the 6 weeks of recovery stuffing my face. Add me and we can support each other!
  • Hi All! I've been AF since 6/2/22 and going strong. Doing AA Zoom meetings to connect with like-minded people is helpful for me. I just decided to stop drinking because it never led to anything positive in my life. Being and staying sober is incredibly empowering. We can do this!+
  • Hey You, I miss you so very much. I think about you all the time and how much I wish you could let me know you are still with me, even though I do know it in my heart. I officially outlived you in July. I wish I could tell you about all the struggles I'm still dealing with, including PTSD and memory problems. You would…
  • Hello fellow dog lover! I'm in the same boat as far as motivation. I'm determined to stay on track, especially during the holidays. Feel free to add me and we can support each other.
  • Okay, now my info: 47yo Widow Dog mom 6'2.5 CW: 362 GW: 250 My issues are emotional eating and eating when I'm bored. I struggle with PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, depression, short-term memory problems, and staying motivated. I start a new part-time job today after being let go from my first full-time job since my husband…
  • @keria Just FYI, muscle is NOT heavier than fat. 1lb of muscle weighs the same as 1lb of fat. Muscle is more dense than fat and takes up less space.
  • The activity is not new. I’ve been at this job since September, but it is completely wearing me out. I keep thinking it’s get less taxing, but not so far. I’m looking voraciously for a new job, but haven’t had any luck yet. I’m on the pill, so do not get a period at all. I definitely have been overdoing the sodium recently…
  • You lost 13lbs in a month and a half that’s a LOT!! 16 days is not enough time to say nothing is happening. Your body isn’t a machine and basic input/output doesn’t always lead to a loss. I burn 2500-4500 calories 4-5 times a week at work and am eating 1800 or less and haven’t seen a loss in almost a month. I know I’m…
  • Active every day. Feel free to add me!
  • I got 4 miles and 8K steps. I’m currently around 325lbs (ugh), so this was extremely challenging for me!!!! Also, the times when I was doing the work reaching, etc., I was doing so standing. No seated movements at all.
  • Wow!!! Amazing!! 🤩
  • Weight loss is about 75% what you eat and 25% exercise. If you’re eating more calories than you’re burning, you could walk 25 miles a day and still not lose/gain weight. It’s NOT water retention. You need to buy a food scale and weigh all your solids and use measuring cups for liquids and log honestly and consistently.
  • Anyone can add me as well. Not anywhere near perfect, but trying hard.
  • Thank you!! That explains it perfectly. I really appreciate the time you took to write all that. 💪
  • I’m definitely NOT going over on my calories. Most days I’m way under and I very, very rarely go over due to exercise (not eating calories back). Protein definitely keeps me fuller longer than carbs do. I’m just losing a lot slower than I should at my weight with 100lbs to go. I know it’s not a race, so I’ll try to be more…
  • I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been there. I lost my 47yo husband unexpectedly 2 years ago and also had to put my 17yo minipoo to sleep a couple months ago. I’d had her since she was a puppy and he and I had been together since 1996. Both staggering losses. It’s also my norm to turn to food for comfort because nothing…
  • Hi there! It’s been a couple weeks, but I’m also looking for accountability buddies to keep each other motivated. I’m determined to get back into shape and stay there. I have quite a ways to go, but I’m super-focused and am on here several times a day. I’m going to see if I can add you and let you know I responded here.…
  • Look for the recipe for mini crustless quiche on SkinnyTaste.com. I omit the flour for less carbs and it doesn’t make a difference at all. It’s got tomatoes, spinach, green peppers, turkey kielbasa and you can really add/alternate anything you like as far as veggies go. I’ve added chopped broccoli, cauliflower, edamame,…
  • I’ve had all kinds of problems and every day is a crapshoot. Usually what works is if I use my laptop and NOT just the app, disconnect the FitBit app from your MFP account and then reconnect it. Sometimes just give it awhile and it’ll catch up. I won’t know why it works so inconsistently, but apparently MFP tech support is…
  • Yep, it takes me about 20lbs to go down just one size. I’m 6’3, 320. Ugh. I lost my 45yo husband unexpectedly last summer, so I’ve been eating my grief, which doesn’t work and certainly doesn’t help except to make me feel guilty. I’m 43. All my joints hurts and my clothes are too tight and I can’t afford new ones, so that…
