  • Take an air horn with you... I think some public attention would make these guys leave you alone. The “secluded” road is a dead give away that they don’t want other people to see them harassing you. Be loud, don’t be afraid to make a scene. Creepy guys use that fear to their advantage.
  • Try the low FODMAP diet. It really helped my husband with his IBS. There’s a handy app for it too.
  • Warm peanut butter bread with grape jelly on top, yum!
  • My husband has IBS and his dietician put him on the FODMAP diet. I recommend that you try it, it made a HUGE difference for him. As far as dairy goes, he can have lactose free milk and hard cheeses (no lactose) and those are fine. Try the FODMAP app, it has a ton of helpful information.
  • Fit “treats” into your calorie count every day. A lot of your favorite foods can fit into your calorie budget if you make small substitutions or have smaller portions.
  • My husband is on the low FODMAP diet so I have been experimenting in the kitchen. Lately I’ve been making my own veggie broth and then making enchilada sauce with that.
