  • I've read that it actually can be covered by OHIP if you have lost over 100lbs and the skin is causing chaffing and hygiene issues. Not sure what the process is in regards to proving that weight loss and how you qualify but there is stuff online that states OHIP will help with removing excess skin.
  • all I know is to be careful with DMSO...I've been riding horses for over 20 years and when I worked with race horses we used DMSO all the time on them and we wore gloves to apply it every single time! I'm not a Dr and do not know how much DMSO is considered harmful to humans, but I've always been told to use gloves when…
  • When I started to lose weight in 2016 I was 250lbs and I was determined to lose a significant amount of weight before getting pregnant with a second child (I had my first in 2015). Fast forward a little bit...my marriage ended in September 2017 and I am raising our 3.5 year old son pretty much full time. When my ex and I…

Except mine…
  • My routine hasn't really changed, no new clothes or detergent. The reason I asked on here before running to the DR was because I didn't know with lifting weights if there could be some hormonal changes, rashes from sweating or something that people often experience. My mother and I went to the gym together today and I had…
  • How true that is with weight loss AND other things such has my separation! I've certainly learned that EVERYONE loves to have their opinion about my personal life! With both my weight loss and separation, I've had to limit how much I share! I will happily eat the extra calories I have burned from my workout :)
  • Ok - thanks for the advice, a couple people I have talked to have told me that "most people don't eat back their calories". These people aren't exactly fitness gurus thought haha was hoping this community would have better insight. My activity level is probably somewhere between low to middle. I sit at a desk from 8-5, but…
  • I recently bought a bag of Iron Vegan, the chocolate "athletes blend". My first time trying a vegan blend and while yes it is slightly more chalky then other non-vegan powders Ive tried, I honestly dont thing its bad at all! Tastes pretty good.
