Nvm this, thread is 4 yrs old wtf

I used 23andme. It's pretty cool, very detailed. I know people who used ancestry and their reports weren't as detailed as mine was

Planet fitness Pros: cheap, can bring a friend, tanning, open 24 hours 5 days per week (good for those of us who work the night shift) Cons: sometimes it's really packed and can be hard to find parking, but I just avoid those hours.

That's why I put clean in quotations. I am responding to the OP, and that is the title of this thread.

Yes, that's true. I worded it wrong. I don't really think about fruits and vegetables as sugar because they don't have a bad effect on me mentally. No depression, anxiety, or binging. But of course without being more specific nobody would know that. So the only sugar I avoid is white sugar, or those added to foods, or…

I've been going to planet fitness since 2008. It's just like any other gym. They pretend they care about "lunk heads" but they don't. Only once in a small town did the lunk alarm go off, which was really uncalled for, since 95% of the people who go to that one are elderly. The alarm was more disturbing than the old man who…

Very true, that's how I kicked my habit. I did the whole30 and after about 2 weeks all the sugar cravings were gone. I have noticed some people like to attack others for not eating sugar, but they don't realize that for some of us it makes depression really unbearable. Without (added) sugar I feel like i always hoped i…

I guess I should have been more specific. I mean I don't eat cake, cookies, and other sweets

I eat sugar that is naturally occurring, like in fruit. I don't eat packaged sweets. I've been doing it for quite while now, bud. It's not that difficult.

It's easier to eat within calories when you eat "clean" Speaking from personal experience. After a couple weeks with zero sugar those cravings go away. If you balance your meals with a protein, starch, and vegetable you feel pretty satisfied and it lasts awhile. I never binge when I eat this way... but if I have any type…

I did it for a month, did everything I was supposed to, but probably took a dump 5 times in the whole month. It sucked. I'm back on paleo and feel much more alive.

Yes. My husband doesn't want me to get too muscular, and I don't want him to get fat.. so he watches his sugar intake and I watch my calorie intake. I want him to get regular haircuts and he doesn't want mine cut at all. We both comply with each other's wishes, and it's no problem.

Not really, no. I got it courtesy of Samsung for linking my gear to mfp. There are some advanced options, like if you calorie or carb cycle, you can set those goals up for each individual day.

I want to be a stay-at-home wife and just cook, clean, workout, and watch dr Phil.

lmao opposite problem here. I've always done the heavy lifting by myself and just recently started with classes, and i feel really awkward and insecure being around all the other people. In fact I hate classes passionately because I'm sick of hearing all these middle aged house wives talk about their binge drinking and…

It may not feel active to you because it's your everyday norm... but i've seen my obese supervisor congratulate himself for walking a whole 10,000 steps and he's exhausted from it. I walk that no problem and feel very inactive for "barely moving".

If you're on keto then headaches are a sign of low electrolytes. Make sure you're keeping sodium HIGH, and getting in enough magnesium and potassium... very essential if you're following keto. You need to drink a lot of water too.. Your body will not be able to hold water on keto.

If you're a newbie then it's possible you could lose fat and gain some muscle at the same time. I focus on compound lifts and do PPL (push, pull legs) routine -- google it for more info. As for food, I keep it real simple. some oats in the morning with egg whites mixed in and a little vanilla protein powder for flavor, hit…

Very easily, but i prefer calorie cycling if i need to eat that low, just for flexibility's sake
-
lmao wow.. opposite for me. People stay AWAY from me everywhere I go. I'm told I have resting *kitten* face and come off as intimidating to people. I can be working out with 3 open benches around me and then when i move, everyone goes over there. Maybe it's the vibe we put out?? I have never ever had anyone approach me at…

Everyone is different, low carb high fat works well for me. I'm almost never hungry and love what I eat. I still watch calories, of course. I can't gain weight if I don't eat in surplus. Simple

Well, most thin people do say they forget to eat or they're not really interested as much.. which makes them NOT naturally thin, they're just consuming far fewer calories. I'm sure people think I'm "naturally thin" too because they don't see the meal planning and hard work I put in at the gym. I don't believe naturally…

Thats weird, I could eat a dozen eggs and half a chicken by myself tbh. I used to eat half watermelons to myself, bag of shrimp. lol How tf aren't these considered risky to overeat?
-
I gave up sugar and grains last month. Since doing so my depression cleared up and I lost my saddlebags lol. For me, it works, but totally understand why people would have no interest in it. I do it because I just feel better
-
I typically scan what I eat, or look for the green check next to the item.

I started whole30 and after a couple weeks, I lost all interest in sweets/sugar/grains. Cravings died. Nobody can motivate you though, you have to want it bad enough for yourself. That hard truth was told to me many years ago and it changed how I thought forever. Anyway, since making that change and cutting those out, I've…

Corn, and I guess potatoes. but really, corn has nothing to offer anybody. Forget that guy
