Eat when you are hungry. I used to try to skip meals or hold off longer to eat to cut calories. It always backfired on me because then I would binge eat later.

Quick question about fasting. If I did something from say 11am to 7pm. Can I drink coffee in the morning or that is not allowed?

Thank you for you reply sijomial. I am new to this. The articles I read said if you lift weights your metabolism burns more for many more hours then if you do cardio. When I do cardio I am sweating like crazy and when I weigjt lift not so much. I am confused. Any advice on the best exercise for weight loss would be welcome.

Thanks everyone. I decided to take eatyogarun's advice. I started out at week 7 since I can already run a mile and a half without stopping. I will just keep plugging away.

After work I will try to just run a slowww 3 miles. If that does not work then I will try the run/walk tomorrow. Thanks for all your input

Do I like running? Yes and No. I like that I can just go outside my door and get a good workout in 30 mins. The part I do not like is obviously I am not in great shape so it is very hard and I do get kind of bored sometimes while running.

What you are saying is making sense. I think that when I run I try to go faster because I am nervous I will not finish. I will try to slow down and see what happens
