This picture, taken 1 year ago next month... I honestly had never really paid attention to what I looked like. I was 356# there and am now at 265-270, depending on the day. I want to finish the 100# loss by August 1st this year. That's one year to the day of when I began my weight loss journey.

Add away! I started LCHF in August of 2017 and have dropped 90 pounds, gotten off of 5 meds, and all blood work is in the very good range now.

Actually, the meats still have nitrite/nitrates in them. The manufacturer stated no added nitrites/nitrates, but if you look at the ingredient list, you'll see celery juice, or another green vegetable juice, that has been used. I home cure a LOT of meats each year and that, along with some home smoked cheese, are my go to snacks or quick dinners.

16/8 for me since August of last year. Works great for me, but I've never been a big breakfast eater.

Once you get into the swing of it, it just becomes a way of life. I have a few folks that I'm coaching and they say the same thing. Don't toss the books just yet, you can still have a life and enjoy some carbs now and then, just not like we used to do! Let me know if I can be of any assistance

A salt deficiency can also cause headaches... I had the same issues and my Dr asked if I had backed way off of the salt I use. He then recommended a daily amount for me, and the headaches went away. Could be something to consider.

Look at the last picture that you didn't like about yourself. Print it out. Hang it in places where you find yourself being tempted or losing focus. Great examples, the refrigerator, the table next to the sofa, the cover pic on your phone. All it took was about a week for me to decided I didn't want those pics around…

Stairs here as well! not a lot, but I climb them several times a day coming and going from my office. 17,000 steps at work, that's a good day! maybe1pe, I do squats at work too! Hmm, resistance bands, that's an idea!

LCHF way of eating since August 1, 2017. 80 pounds down with moderate exercise as well. It works, but like mentioned above, don't over think it. Let us know how we can be of assistance. Also, LOG EVERYTHING you eat and look items up before you eat them. Lots of hidden carbs out there.

That's my go to snack when on the run. Also, a very good item to use as a binder in place of bread crumbs in some recipes, and I've also used it as a coating for "oven fried" foods. Most all will be zero carbs and pretty high in sodium.
