All day sweats after meals specifically. I'm 44 and have a Mirena, so no more cycles since June of last year. I thought about perimenopause myself but my cycles have stopped completely.

Two confirmed cases in the state where I live. No food hoarding, mostly wariness in terms of health, hygiene, and other people's sicknesses. Plus my family has no plans to travel.

And once all this is set up, OP, teach him how to manage this himself. I've heard too many problems with spouses trying to manage the other's weight loss then get accused of sabotage when things don't work out. Be supportive, but put the responsibility in his hands.

Yes. Came out to about 3000 to 4500 calories. I'm such a volume eater that even eating "healthy" foods unchecked results in at least 2100 calorie days.

Kinda reminds me of explaining to a loved one that their mixing bowl full of cereal was not one serving. Cereal kept disappearing as soon as I bought it. Their "one bowl" was half the dang box.

I'm still learning. What I noticed: I'm constantly thirsty I'm constantly peeing afterwards I'm starving afterwards. Maybe its because the pool I go to is indoors but unheated and I spend the first 20 minutes of the class shivering in the shallow end. Otherwise I enjoy it for the social aspect.

Chicken parm and spaghetti casserole.

A capful in water with a sprinkle of turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, and ginger seems to be helping my joint inflammation. I also take glucosamine with MSM, so maybe it's worth something, or maybe it's a nice placebo effect 🤷🏾♀️ Weight loss? No extra that I've noticed beyond what I'm already doing.

There's an IG trainer who swears this works. How? You eat your crave foods until the fascination wears off and you become "immune" to them, lose interest and switch to intuitive eating all on your own. But you must be willing to gain weight until all this kicks in. Um, no.

Keeping things simple is helpful. But there's a lot of information overload, and the temptation to try everything at once to get the weight off yesterday. Resulting in burnout, impatience, discouragement, or overanalyzing and doing nothing.

Pinterest has meal plans with foods from Aldi's.

Mine is like this. You're fat, you must diet and find the latest greatest exercise plan. Fork over cash. I have no time for this plan, but I'll try it for a week or so then switch to something easier. Exercise more in the meantime. Weigh in: You lost! Celebrate with food! You beat the scale but you're not losing fast…

It's unfortunate that these services are primarily offered to only WLS candidates. I was referred to WW (lost but now the constant program changes don't help), received 1200 calorie chicken/ fish/ and veggie for life handouts, a social worker who suggested more dieting to treat binge eating/ exercise bulimia, and a…

IMHO, they both have a place. I've had IE therapy and it's helped me maintain. Apparently the amount my intuition tells me to eat is a maintenance level. And at times its stopped me from eating just to be eating, even if I had the calories. But to stay in a calorie deficit I need to count calories. I also track macros to…

Chocolate chunk fudge brownies and an Entenmanns fruit cake, which I sadly haven't found since 2 years ago.

Also has to do with endurance. Getting worn out during the act as a result of poor fitness can cause things to um... go south? before conclusion. There's a lot of vascular tissue which is also affected by poor fitness and diet. Elevated blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol can mess up the plumbing.

That's a great plan.

Finished Lift 4 Round 3 today! Next up Round 2 of 80 DO.

I'm so inspired by you because I'm 5'3" and 158 on a good day. I want to get back to 135. It'll take time and effort. But I'm willing to do it. Congratulations!

Mine is open with all the good, bad, and downright ugly, lol.

Steamed Egg rolls or spring rolls?

Same. The Fitbit records my exercise but it doesn't translate over MFP. Only the step count and the calories earned through it.
-
I created an entry called "Dinner time! Let's just say I ate this much", serving size "1 big ole plate", 1700 calories, just for today. It's good enough. I did track breakfast coffee and lunchtime salad accurately though.

I wear a MiFit as part of a clinical resesrch trial I'm in. I hate it. Burns through the battery, there's a 2 to 3 thousand step discrepancy between it and my Charge HR 2 even though they're on the same arm. Does not sync with anything. And it keeps going off, I mean alarms, GPS alerts, all types of junk neither myself nor…

I really like this podcast, especially the episode Not my Circus, Not my Monkies.

Yeah the presenters turned me off from them. Workouts were great but they were... weird.

WW just launched their new plan, which is 3 plans in one. Ironically 2 of them are successful previous plans and the more current one. See what they did there? Secured retention and threw out something to get former members to return. Nice marketing.

Mom's macaroni and cheese, fried bologna and cheese sandwiches, tuna salad and chips. Just made cube steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli for dinner. Might have rice cereal sometime this week- rice with butter, sugar, and condensed milk. Think rice pudding but soupier.

Followed up with RD. She believes inflammation and hormones can be confounding factors as she thinks my current exercise and food logs (written in a weekly log) are good. Will follow up with rheumatology again to have another work up for inflammation.
