I have 4 packs of extensions, each about 150 grams, on my head. Plus I feel noticeable weight. Gotta count for something, lol! 😆

Combo of things. My weight went up 5 lbs last week and finally returned back to within a couple lbs of normal today. Checked Libra, the gain started right after my first Moderna shot. Never thought to put any of it together until seeing this thread. 🤔 Plus geting heavy butt length braids. 😉

I stopped over restricting, or letting a bad day make me think of restricting. And therapy.

Agree with everything said here. I'm still in treatment for bulimia (exercise purging). Definitely started with restrictive dieting, compulsive over exercise to the point of almost losing my job, and using my weight to gain approval, recognition, and control. I found low cost therapy through ED websites and foundations.…

Not only just a therapist but a registered dietitian as well. Not a health/ weight loss coach or vague nutrition title, but a registered dietitian.

Something I was told about IE was that it did not guarantee weight loss or a desired weight. Pretty much IE is you eat without judgement or restrictions according to hunger and satiety signals (which take time to regulate), and your weight will sort out at its natural set point. Along my journey those set points were much…

1. Assuming there was one perfect diet, and it had to be the most popular or trendy one. 2. Committing myself to diets that I didn't really want to do because either everyone else was doing it, promised quick amazing results, or a combo of the two. I didn't want to miss out on possible success! 3. Committing myself to…

See a doctor. I was referred to cardiology for 24 hr Holter monitor, echocardiogram, and stress testing in March. Then Covid hit, all appointments were canceled, I still have the same issues, and now have to start the process all over again. Its very uncomfortable. Please get checked out.

I section it into 3 braids overnight and working out. Afterwards I mist it with water, touch up my curls with cream styler or leave in conditioner and a mix of grapeseed and tea tree oil on my scalp and ends. If I have time I'll stretch it with a blow dryer on medium. Just pull my hair straight down then heat up my hair…

I restrict/binge/exercise purge. I'm in therapy, support groups, and work with an RD who specializes in eating disorders. For now my goals are stop gaining, balance exercise and food intake, and get to the root of my body image issues.

Already commented long ago, but recently heard this on an podcast: "Does WW teach you to be successful without their plan? Why do they need to keep reinventing themselves every few years? Nutrition labels are consistent so why does the points calculation keep changing?" Thought it was interesting.

My coworker told me Psychology Today has a referral site. Try looking it up online.

I'm attending Zoom meetings and made a lot of great friends on Connect. So yes I do "meetings" but count calories. I cannot bring myself to do Points anymore.

Scale! Do not let anyone shame you or force you to do an exercise or lift a weight you are not ready to. Tell the coach if something causes pain or doesn't feel right. I enjoyed Crossfit but left due to my old box's refusal to further scale around an injury. I will look for another. If the coaches aren't winning to work…

I weigh it, peel, core, and all, and log the total weight as serving. I use the extra weight as room for error.

And you can actually fit in a cookie without it costing a third of your days intake! 🍪🍪🍪

Mu friend was refused an outpatient procedure due to morbid obesity and sedation risk. She was about 300 lbs at 4 foot 11 at the time. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once with light sedation (no pain, I got a lot of numbing, very loopy, but aware of what was happening) at 208 lbs and 5 foot 3.

I weigh the whole fruit and log the whole weight. Any extra weight from cores and peels I use as room for error throughout the day.

Congratulations! I just started Noom. I love the psychology and behavior change aspect. I prefer logging here because the database is more accurate and robust. When my subscription is up in November I'll be back here full time.

I round up calories on my go to foods and total them from there. But I do weigh and measure as needed.

The points assigned ate supposedly according to height, weight, and gender. The lowest depends on what plan you're on (too much to explain here) 16 with hundreds of zero point food, 23 with a few less, 30 with only fruit and veggies zero. Still no parallel to anything like a calorie count.

I just watched the MFP video. Everything you said resonated with me. I'm so proud of you!

All of the above plus something my RD told me: They rarely post their bad days. So you're not seeing the days they're bloated or when their skin is acting up. Some are transparent enough to show that the six pack is not on display every day. Many count on perfection to keep their fan base.

My reasons: People pleasing. I followed plans I hated because my friends did them or they were popular and I wanted camaraderie and their approval. When I didn't get any results or their results I quit. Getting religious with plans. Each diet or exercise plan was The Solution, The Way. And I'd burn out and quit when I…

This right here! I gained trying WW zero point nonsense. An I stayed in my points. Yes it steers you to eating better quality foods. But zero still has calories. I've eaten 500 calories worth of fruit and made 600 calorie zero point meals. Just an extra 100 calories per day is a 10 lb per year gain. That's an extra large…

Using my apps. I- Fit which syncs with my treadmill (I've walked the Scottish Highlands and Kauai, lol), Aaptiv, YouTube, and dusted off my Firm and Cathe Friedrich DVDs. This and lots of housework.

I'm in NYC too. The mall I used to go to now is a mobile testing site. So far I'm working from home. All I hear are ambulances all day, other than that it's eerily quiet. Several of my friends are first responders or in the medical field, so I worry. 2 have CV. I'm glad your husband is recovering. I've made up for less…

Glad you're getting the care you need and you're recovering.
