For some reason my 6week checkup is actually a 5week checkup which is in 2weeks. I was thinking it might be a good idea to continue my light exercise maybe include walking as well. so that when I get cleared by my dr Its not like im starting at zero activity & suddenly trying to exercise again. Im definitely going to go…

I understand what your saying & I am honestly not doing much other than slowly trying to be more active & eating healthy. Not eating take out 3 or 4x a week. Or fast food & McDonalds all the time. Not eating ice cream & brownies & just eating anything I wanted like I did while pregnant. Making healthy choices & counting…

I lost 3lb this week. Iknow I need to eat more, that was my struggle this week. Im officially 3 weeks postpartum so I know its still early but if this continues, at what point do I say this weightloss is too fast? It would be nice if I had more time so that my body could self regulate itself first and then start on my…

You mentioned you were losing weight too quickly at first. How much weight loss is too much?
-
Definitely eating the carbs! My macros look pretty good. Its just overall im not able to get more snacks & meals in. Some of it is time. Im tired in the mornings or im busy and some time passes by the next thing I know I should’ve probably had one or two snacks during that time. And part of it is getting back into the…

So are you saying dont try to log calories or take into account the calories burned from breastfeeding? If i do then im definitely undereating I’m shooting for 2000+ calories but have only hit 1700-1800. I did light exercises two days so far this week which I know i need to eat more on my exercise days. I just need to find…

This is a little harder than I thought. Its going to take me a while to get the hang of things. I have not hit my calorie goal once this week. Im undereating. Its hard for me to eat healthy and eat so many calories. I think this weekend i will sit down and think of a mealplan for the week.

There are lots of different styles of shapewear. And yes some can go high up to under the boob area so it will also slip the rib cage as well as your stomach. Shapewear is a must for me. Im also going to be wearing a wedding dress soon.

^^ i meant to reply to you lol.

Thanks so much for responding! I wouldn’t say Im exclusively breastfeeding but we are feeding almost every hour & half and baby gets 2 or 3 feedings from bottle whether its breastmilk or formula. I have lost 23lb in 2 weeks without dieting or doing anything. Weight of baby + fluids & water weights & such. (First week was…

Yes. I thought about this also, I also calculated her max heart rate. Mine is190, hers is 183.
-
First, thanks you always give good insight & my 2 cents is my polar model is one of the older models forsure just because their newer models are pretty pricey. I got mine second hand very gently used and I prefer it to my apple watch. I compare my apple watch heart rate to my polar and my polar numbers look better as in I…

Good pt about resting heart rate.

Sometimes I feel my traditional dumbbells are heavier than the power blocks. Is there a reason why? Is my brain just tricking me because of the weight is distributed?
-
Aw but 50lb set is nice. One thing I knew about my set is that the description said that an expansion can’t be added onto it. But thats ok because I will use my other dumbbells
-
I just bought 2 new fitness blender programs that were on the 70% off sale.
-
Yesss fitness blender! Ive used them for years & finally decided to get powerblocks because of them. I figure 24lb is fine because I still have my other dumbbell set and I can always go up to 30lb with those. I think the powerblock stand will be the next buy.

I cant exactly give any advice for how to keep the chicken moist without being to dry. For me its hit or miss, sometimes its like oops outside is seared nice but inside is kinda dry. Other times it’s perfect. I tend to use a few diff flavor profiles. Lemon chicken (lawrys season salt + lemon pepper) is my go to, then…

Thanks! I thought so But was double checking.

Another protein powder use! These were good! More of a chewy granola bar texture, def not a cookie. Baked at 350 for 10min. But these were tasty and smelled great. They yielded 12 and based on my calculations they were 55cal each. 9g carbs. 3g protein and 4g sugar.

I think you may have inspired me to make personal pizzas this week.

Thank you! The reason I posted was to hear other ppls perspectives because Ive heard many ppl in the community say “no food is considered an off diet food and that cheats aren’t necessarily cheats”. Iknow theres always ways to better ourselves & ways to try to eat cleaner but sometimes I really am trying my best & this…

Exactly. It actually took me a while to get used to protein drinks & took me a while to get used to protein powder & definitely depends on what im mixing it with. I bought a new peanut butter that has Extra protein In it. Im guessing they use protein powder. I was excited 11g of protein per serving. I tried it and I was so…

Interesting. I just looked it up. Will try it soon.

Yes at first pancakes was the only thing i was able to enjoy with it. But now I found that tea works well too.
-
Green tea + protein powder was a success too. Sounds weird but it worked well.
-
Oh good idea!

I don’t really like protein powder flavor but Pancakes are def A good option, I dont mind it at all in pancakes.
