I use the fit of my clothes and measurements. I also have a belt for my pants. I actually have two. The one I was wearing when I first started my weight loss journey and the one I wear now. It's the best visual for me as I can compare their length and the holes and see which ones are worn out as I keep having to use the…

Username: Kinalau Weigh In Day: Friday PW (Previous Weight):144.6 CW (Current Weight): 144.2 Happy Friday. I haven't responded much this week because work has been, well, work. I did pick up a contract for teaching summer school English, so that is a win. A special thank you to everyone who encouraged me to keep looking…

Today was weigh in day. Last Friday: 146 Today: 144.6 I'm a bit doubtful of the scale…

Still a newbie here but wanted to jump in ahead of my weigh in day tomorrow morning. What a great active group this is: exactly what I know I need to be successful. Been having a really tough time at work. I applied for a summer position with a school in my district and they didn't hire me, but the part that's getting to…

Hi, all. I'm Loretta. I'm a 50 year old data cruncher for a school district after having served as an English teacher, vice principal, and then principal. I have two sons, aged 10 and 14. I used mfp to lose most of my weight in 2017-18 and am finally getting mentally back to finishing up the last bit and found that group…

I actually use whoop. I have whoop data go to strava and then have strava connected to mfp. I really love the whoop and its features in its own app as a side component to my health journey.

High school principal here. I've lost 100 pounds over a little more than a year. I very much struggle with stress eating and this final quarter of the year is the worst right now :)

Hi all. Food addict and major binge eater here too. When I was young living with my parents, my mother was extremely strict with food so I was always a healthy weight, but since adulthood it has been a constant struggle. I guess I shouldn't say constant because up until the past couple of years I didn't struggle at all, I…

I hear you on the mirror thing. One day on this health journey I walked by the mirror and stopped and told my husband, who happened to be in the room, "hey, I can see me again". I finally could see myself as I remembered me to be in my reflection. The mirror view is so powerful!

Feel free to add me. I am currently at 95 pounds loss and holding on to maintenance like a crazy person, so I've been there and am always looking for some friends.

Worst: In laws. Every time I see them they make backhanded compliments and say they can't understand why I would want to lose weight (the whole be healthy thing doesn't register as a reason to them). I've lost 95 pounds in about a year. This past week mother-in-law asked, what do you weigh now? I finally had enough and…

I had terrible acid reflux for years. After getting back to a healthier weight it is completely gone, even if I eat things like chili and foods with red sauces. It was a nice surprise side effect
