Thank you for all your advice everyone. I will look at the ideas. Perhaps up my protein and drop my calories a bit. Will try varying my diet. Ps I'm female lol.

1570 calories. Yes use a food scale. Personal trainer twice a week. Lots of walking.

Been dieting since this time 2018. Had holiday beginning of December and ate sensibly but what I wanted to eat. Plateaued since new year.
-
Yes please add me. I have about 20 lbs to lose.

I finished the couch to 5k last week. Loved the whole experience. Good luck with your programme.

Thank u for your replies. My way of eating has totally changed and not drinking alcohol now so I know what I need to do to keep on track with the calories etc. It just becomes a way of life logging everything I eat or drink so I'm sure 2 weeks off will not do any harm. After the last 9 months my partner and I certainly…

On holiday before I put my phone away in the hotel safe and ignore the outside world. I like to be able to just switch off from the internet etc.

I just finished the couch to 5k programme. Never did running before so took it slow and steady all the way through. I got new running trainers after about the 4th week. My knees were a bit stiff sometimes but I always made sure I had a rest day inbetween my runs.

Correct as far as I'm aware. You would find it easier if you logged everything including exercise. I don't usually go over my calories and if I have done loads of exercise I try and save some of the calories for the end of the week for my Chinese takeaway treat meal.

I know exactly how you feel. My partner has lost 40kgs in the last 8 months and I've lost 17kgs. He had a stroke and needed to lose weight so I supported him and we have been dieting for the last 8 months. He's done fantastic so please don't get me wrong. I have joined a gym. I've got a personal trainer. I'm doing couch to…

Thank u all for your responses. It's certainly not easy. At least my overall fitness has greatly improved in the last 8 months. I will just continue to weigh food and calorie count whilst changing my fitness programme. I have one more week of the couch to 5 km programme so will do more gym work on different days and run a…

I am getting hungry. Aggh. Will try dropping a few more calories.
-
Still struggling to lose. I don't really want to take a break from losing those last few kgs.
-
Same with me. I'm logging everything I eat. I've dropped my calorie intake to 1500 from 1600. The scales are not budging. It's so disheartening. I don't really want to take break as I just want to lose the last few kgs before November.
-
Yes I've noticed my body shape has changed. I'm much fitter now than 8 months ago.
-
Thanks for advice. What's refeeds.
-
Definitely check and use scales correctly.
-
Since February dieting and I've stuck for the last 4 weeks.
-
One word. Amazing. Well done you. True inspiration to others.
-
Count me in. Need an extra push to carry on losing.
-
Fab well done.

My husband to be had a brain stem stroke in January and it suddenly made us both realise life is so very precious. He's lost 4 and half stone now and I've lost 2 stone so far. It's not easy juggling home, work, children and a complete change in life but I am so determined to become a fit and healthy person to be able to…

I did exactly the same on Friday. My fat percentage had gone up and my muscle percentage down. So annoyed as I've been calorie counting and exercising. I can see my body shape has changed. Really put me off.
