  • I’ve lost ~65 pounds since the middle to end of August myself. Some successes were learning to cook healthy versions of food I love, learning potion control, and letting myself have the occasional treat without it turning into a full on binge.
  • Update: several months in and I’m down around 70 pounds. Turns out my body just took a little extra time to catch up to the changes I was making. I didn’t see any weight loss for the first 6 weeks!
  • Well...for some reason I can’t upload a photo so I’m just editing what I’ve written to say congratulations to everyone that’s posted so far!
  • Anyone is welcome to add me! I mostly whine and complain about work but only because people I’m friends with have become fairly inactive here the last month or so! I’m afraid I’m not much help in the way of curbing sweets cravings. Mostly because I crave savory foods and I work at a drug store so if I’m craving a KitKat I…
  • Oh and tuna lettuce wraps but instead of normal cheese and mayo I add a couple finely chopped chunks of blue cheese, half a serving of light mayo, and all the sriracha my heart desires. If it was OK to have for lunch and dinner every day you better believe I would!
  • I’m not sure if someone already said it but I mix my PB2 with sugar free maple syrup and smother it on apples or toast. I just started doing this about a week ago when I remembered how much I love the maple and peanut butter combo. I used to mix real peanut butter and maple syrup...then i started eating better and oh my…
  • Your post totally reminded me about this thread! Just wanna add that you can get flat breads from Aldi (if you have one by you) that are only 90 calories and they make pretty good pizzas that clock in at about 190 calories. I also use them to make breakfast burritos for 280 calories with egg beaters (tastes just like eggs…
  • Oh trust me I go over Friday’s, that’s it unless there’s a birthday lol I work Thursday-Monday 3-1030 every night and I am not trying to get out of work, get home, change and go right back out. I looooove Netflix 😂
  • Me either honestly. I’m only 26 but jeez they do not understand how different 26 and 22 are. I cannot drink that much anymore. That’s why as much as I love them I don’t hang out there much. And I do love them obviously, but they’re definitely friends of circumstance. I work at the same company as 3 of them (actually…
  • Losing slowly, taking a break, and maintaining before you decide to lose some more is still great! Some people might not find it difficult or make an effort to keep themselves at a stable weight so I think that’s very impressive! Personally I’ve never been able to maintain at all during my life since I turned 15. Hopefully…
  • I’m also the only one that doesn’t bring a whole bottle. I want to know exactly what I’m drinking and how much of it so I can log it and keep track. Hence the nips lol
  • My friends are all only 22 or 21. It’s not a very large social circle so it’s never a big party, just 5 of us hanging out. It’s just that they’re still in that ‘party all night work all day’ phase that I’ve been past for a couple years now. We’re too broke to go to bars lol nippers where I live are about 99 cents.…
  • Also curry with brown jasmine rice! My recipe gives me 360 calories for a serving but when I only eat 3 meals a day, and my other two average around 200-250 calories that’s a life saver and allows me a little snack room because I only get up to about 860 calories. My faaaaavorite low calories snack is some tuna with…
  • Unfortunately, only sometimes, yes. I’ll have a lighter breakfast, my regular lunch which is lately chicken and veggie curry with brown jasmine rice for about 360 calories, and a protein shake with cashew milk for dinner. Most of the time I’ll still eat at least 1000, go to the gym, and drink within my calories for the…
  • Cashew milk! I love love love it and it’s only like 30 calories per serving! Perfect for mixing with protein powder for the full feeling and nutrients without using water to cut down calories. And the ‘pizza’ I make almost daily! Aldi fit&active flatbread is only 90 calories. With plain, no salt added, tomato sauce, .5…
  • I still log my alcohol calories. I only buy small bottles (nippers or 1/2 pints) so I can accurately log them without worrying about weighing out each drink and only mix with seltzer water, if I’m using any type of mixer at all. I have a very small appetite though so that’s why I don’t eat much. I work 3-1030 5 days a week…
  • I should say I TRY to hit 1300 but only hit 1100 mostly, even without factoring I’m exercise. If i have the day off from work and know I probably have burned closer to my BMR (I’m fairly sedentary on my days off because I’m on my feet in a retail position when I work) I will ALWAYS go to the gym and eat maybe 2 servings of…
  • Honestly, the same thing happened to me a while ago. Turns out it was my body warning me I had Diverticulitis 🤷🏻‍♀️ too many veggies wreak havoc on my intestines. Took a trip to the ER thinking my appendix had burst to figure out what was wrong. Try to cut everything you know is triggering discomfort out and adding things…
  • I would love to but I live in New England and don’t drive so it would be quite difficult to get to a pool :( there’s one in my apartment complex (main reason I chose this one to be honest) but I moved in too late to use it last year and they closed it for renovations this year! Sucks because I’m basically a fish if I can…
  • Diverticulitis sufferer here! Generally if I’m going low fiber because I can feel an outbreak coming on I go full liquid and maybe toss in a protein shake here and there to feel a little more full. It’s not the most fun thing in the world but it helps a lot. I was diagnosed about a year ago and have had a few flare ups…
  • Always looking for more friends! Added you and everyone is free to add me if they’d like!
  • Curry with brown jasmine rice, chicken fajitas (no tortilla), or chicken with a side of sautéed broccoli/spinach/onion that I added a little cheese and almond milk too. I’m on a pretty high calorie deficit and my meal preps usually hit around 300 calories.
  • You could also try adding some protein powder to nonfat plain Greek yogurt! I use dymatize and mix it in very slowly otherwise it clumps up. Tastes like pudding 😍
  • I have an obsession with adding PB2 to oatmeal for breakfast. And for a snack after work but before dinner I’ll sometimes add chocolate protein powder into plain nonfat Greek yogurt. Tastes like pudding!
  • If you’re talking about making a recipe hit the little button where you would go to see like the community, goals, profile, etc and find the one that mentions recipes! You can bulk import ingredients by typing out your own list with brands and measurements or import from online if you followed someone’s recipe! I use it…
  • I plan on eating my calorie maintence level and exercising more when I get there so I can add a little more into my diet. Not much. It’s very easy for me to gain weight so I know I’ll have to weigh and calculate things for a long time til I get used to knowing what portions I can eat and such.
  • Again, 25 is my age. Not my BMI. My BMI is currently 36....I wouldn’t try to lose weight if my BMI was 25 as that’s my goal weight...
  • Also I probably should have added that 25 is my age, not my BMI lol
  • I actually do currently weight 200 pounds and started at 217. my goal is 145-150 because that’s what I was a few years ago at the smallest I have ever been, and I carry my weight a little differently so smaller than that would look strange for my body type personally. I didn’t intentionally lose 3/wk. It just…
  • I have a high BMI but at 25 (almost 26) I’ve never had a license or needed one honestly because I’ve always been without .5 miles of the busline and I like walking. I do think I carry more muscle than someone y size generally does because of this. I walk EVERYWHERE in a small town with rolling hills. I’m really trying to…
