if you mean grams went up, that may be due to exercise calories. my percentages stay the same but my grams go up in proportion to the exercise calories i earn.

bench presses squats cable rows i'm wondering if anyone has advice on squats. the fitness center i use has no barbells. would i be better off doing squats with the smith machine, or with dumbbells? also, using dumbbells for deadlifts...ugh. but i have no alternatives (that i can think of). i've only been strength training…

excellent job! the only way i make it through is to save plenty of calories for the evenings. i'm so busy during the day it's pretty easy for me to plan on the majority of my calories coming after 5ish.

protein should be about 1 gram per lb of your goal body weight. carbs and fat are pretty much a personal preference.

i'll suck on a cold eze as soon as i feel a cold coming on. it doesn't prevent it but it makes it go away pretty quickly. but only if i take it at the first freaking inkling of having a cold. also, they taste horrible.

overhead presses 3x10 (attempted) deadlifts 3x8 lat pulldowns 3x10 45 minutes on the dreadmill sweet baby jesus i hate overhead presses. i still suck at them. was only able to do 1 set of 10, 1 set of 8, and 1 set of 5. i progress regularly in everything but those freakin things. edit: *not including warm up sets*

just wanted to say that my doctor just chewed me out for this. i went overboard with my weight loss, and he was like "wtf are you doing. you're 45 years old and not enjoying food, but looking at it like a job. loosen up. " yet another thing i have to bring up with my counselor. sigh. /end threadjack
