Hi, I’m in a similar situation as you, though I’m 57 and just started mfp 15 or so days ago. I don’t eat the right kinds of foods to keep my body healthy. I’m trying to get more vegetables and fruits. I did see a 1/2 lb loss this week. I too see a nutritionist. I weigh 249.7 lbs. I’ve sent you a friend request.

Welcome. I was in your shoes once, with young children and weight to lose. I’m so proud that you are taking the steps now to rid yourself of the excess weight. I instead added to the weight over years. Now those children are adults and parents and I’m hitting the scales heavy. Time to stop. And lose.

Hi, we seem to have some things in common. I’m 57, I’m 252 lbs. I found mfp this time due to my nutritionalist. I’m new here, I’ve been logging just over a week. When I logged it, there was old data from 2014 and I’ve gain 22 lbs since then. Friend me if you like. Best wishes.
