My goal weight is what I was as at when I felt the best. I know when I get there I won't feel as good as before due to being 10 years older but I'll feel better than I do now and that's the goal.

I lift my TV remote up and down over and over again. After I build up my forearms a bit more I'll attach some weights on it.

The biggest thing in my opinion is to log all your food. After you plateu then start weighing your food as well.

Keep in mind the fat intake is a general guideline. You won't be unhealthy if you're getting say 60% of recommended fat. This is especially true if you aren't struggling with hunger issues.

I'm fine at 1200 calories, I don't feel hungry unless I stay up late. Not everyone is the same and that's ok. 1200 calories will be a deficent for most people but it's not starving.

Keep in mind that if you are nearing your ideal weight (or maybe I should say healthy weight) you might need to change your metrics. For example stop relying only on weight and maybe start taping. You may be losing fat but gaining muscle at roughly the same rate which is affecting weight loss. That's a good thing not bad.

It's also not a race to see who gets there first. It's about getting there and staying there in a sustainable way. I say this as someone who hasn't been there in a long long time so... There is that lol.

I feel like each individual day is not hard (I'm new here but have done weight loss before). The hard part is not letting life get in the way. I only do good if I meal track and meal tracking is a pain in the *kitten*. It's very easy to say " this is taking too long I'll just estimate". There goes the train off the tracks.

There is a common saying "You can not out exercise a bad diet". That being said if you are close to your goal weight stop with the scale and start with taping as your measurement.
