I have a coworker whos lost the same amount as me, however she goes to the gym daily and I dont. Could that be the reason why I dont see my own results?

I think it’s much harder to see our own results vs someone else’s. We are our own worst critics plus we see ourselves every day so it’s harder to notice the gradual changes.
It also depends on things like your height. If she’s shorter the same amount of weight loss will be more noticeable on a shorter person.
And yes, the fact that she goes to the gym daily probably does make a difference because it’s likely she is retaining more muscle if she is strength training and you aren’t.
But weight loss isn’t about comparing yourself to others. If you are unhappy with your body then maybe consider adding more exercise to your routine. But if you are happy with yourself then don’t worry about what others are doing.6 -
It's also not a race to see who gets there first. It's about getting there and staying there in a sustainable way.
I say this as someone who hasn't been there in a long long time so... There is that lol.1 -
If your coworker goes to the gym I will just assume she probably put on some muscle or toned up whereas you probably lost all over weight. It’s not a bad thing, it just depends on the result you want. I think a lot of us expect to lose weight in “target areas” but that doesn’t happen from just dieting0
