I'm going to add you! I need support as well. My brain keeps telling me I wont lose whether I am in a deficit or not, and I struggle, deeply, with body issues.
-
Thank you. I weighed myself yesterday and somehow I have lost 5 pounds in the past month!! I get scared that that is false. I don't know how to get over the mental stuff. I'm like: "it's just a fluke it seems like I lost- probably mostly water." lol I feel like half of this is all mental. I don't weight myself much for…

No!! I really am only doing it 1 or 2 days out of the week. I consider eating at maintenance def cheating for me. I don't want to go over maintenance that is just not worth it. Maintenance is usually my limit. It's usually emotional or on accident. I am gonna be vulnerable and honest here. I just looked in the mirror and…

I am weighing as much as I can and sticking to small portions. My logging probably isn't perfect, but I'm pretty sure I'm eating at a deficit!! And I am eating the recommended amount by MFP that already has the deficit in it.

LMAO

tHANK YOU! I have tracked 4 days in a row now. Back at it! Thanks for all your support!! Hopefully I make it! Chewing gum helps too.

I am at work and quickly read over; I work in health care!! I don't know why I saw menopausal. Mostly likely revealing a fear of mine! lol
-
I'm only 32! :)
-
This kind of made me teary eyed. Thank you. Not a good day today.
-
Thank you for the advice! I am trying that- it is a very little amount of food I'm allowed to eat since I have a desk job :( Thank you so much!! I have been in and out of therapy for years. I am not currently in treatment. Thank you all for your support. It seems impossible. I want to feel good again. I have always been…

And before anyeone says anything. I am eating plenty! I am eating what I am supposed to as well as plenty of proteins, whole grains, fruits and vegetables.

I get what you mean! I am more muscular and my waist is smaller while my legs and but are bigger. My stomach has always been semi flat, but I gained 25 pounds this past year, and lost all feelings of sexiness!! lol I was on the line before, but now I am over that line IMO. Although I am lucky my body type does make me look…

Thanks for asking. It has been slow since I first started walking a year ago. It's been hard for me, because I used to be an athlete :( But I would say its a moderate pace 3.0-3.5. I work a professional job, and I don't have time to change my clothes. So I don't go too crazy. But it usually is marked as 3.0-3.5 mph on my…

I was anywhere between 500 or 1000 over that was with exercise. I have slowly been doing better though. I have been eating healthier foods and reducing my intake. I didn't log at all last week :( I just felt depressed. But I am back at it again.

Hey, the ones who had data I appreciated. The ones who just immediately shrugged it off, and weren't really understanding what I was saying are who I'm referring to. Yes, its a fear thing. I am looking for support rather than the judgements. Thanks for empathy. It is already difficult for me to lose weight due to PCOS. I…

I am just now reading ALL THESE!! Thanks for the response. And yes, I am referring to studies that show that people who have never lost weight have a higher BMR than someone who has lost weight at the same size. Meaning those that have lost weight are hungrier, but must eat less than if they were naturally that size. I…

Thanks everyone! And yes I mean BMR. And I ask because it's unmotivating thinking your body is going to make you miserable the whole way. Makes you want to give up.
-
I have read that the body fights weight loss, and when you lose weight it causes your maintenance calories to be lower than before or less than someone who has never dieted and weighs the same.
-
I have tried no carb in the past and def not going to do that again. Just lower, but even the slight reduction makes me ravenous. I will def try some PCOS forums. A lot of people are uneducated on it and don't realize it does indeed make it 2x harder to loser weight. With PCOS it isn't as simple as calories unfortunately.…

When I go lower on carbs; I'm starving. Feels like my body is fighting against me.
-
How do we lose weight with PCOS? I don't want the harsh meds either :(
-
Tavis- I just learned what macros were the 2 days ago! So much to learn, and I plan on slowly figuring this out more. Hopefully it works for me. Mind/matter- Its a catch 22 because my pcos HATES carbs yet I feel like I'm starving without them. Thats why its hard to stay positive, because I really do feel like it is set up…

I do try to go low carb as much as I can, but I feel so hungry. I don't know if there is a certain amount of time you have to do it to stop feeling so hungry or what. And thank you Riverside. I appreciate all the positivity, support, and encouragement. This is really hard for me; I feel like my body fights me the entire…

Thank you for responding! Yes I sit at a desk job all day, and I have to travel in a car sitting several times a week. So it is accurate that I put sedentary :( My body HATES losing weight, and I have always been heavier even in my most athletic days. My body will make me go insanely hungry and my brain becomes obsessed…
