A lot of paleo style recipes are good substitutes for comfort food. You eat more protein and veggies while getting that flavor of Cajun\Mexican and Italian flavor without the carbs.

LCHF diet? I have tried this. It made me ill due to what I later found out to be gastroparesis. The high fat part was hard for me to handle. However, I think this diet is a good one. You fill up more with fat and protein than carbs. Try making fat bombs, bullet coffee and cooking in fat. Pinterest can be a great place for…

I am type 2 diabetic and use insulin and trulicity so far. I am oddly allergic to metformin. I also have gastroparesis that is likely due to diabetes. I am 29 but feel free to add me.

I am diabetic and I will have commentary on what I eat the rest of my life. I get comments about medication, machines and food. You just have to remember not everyone can understand and either brush it off or help them understand. It's best not to get angry. You're doing this for you!

I am a diabetic. My advise is to cut down on simple sugars and carbohydrates, but not eliminate. You might feel different after starting this because sugar is like an addiction but don't quit! Headaches and the like will go away. Workout out 3-5 times a week and keep moving everyday. Being still for long periods of time is…

I drank Ensure in the morning. I would then eat 2-3 hours later. I also make my own shakes and smoothies. Really, people with medical needs such as myself benefit from shakes. Healthy people should learn how to eat rather than using a shake to lose weight. Like everyone has said, you will not learn drinking shakes and thus…

Try a different bra. Use a padded and push up bra. Otherwise, I agree with everybody else. It has to do with my own genetics that I got a bum and bigger chest. Be happy with what you have, girl!

I'm tracking everything that is free to track. Trying to get healthier, control my type 2 diabetes and lose weight. I also wanna see how what I'm eating is affecting my blood sugar. Low carb anything or high fat is indeed the new thing to do. I tried LCHF and keto because they were the new thing.

I know someone that went through chemo for leukemia. He put on weight with shakes such as ''ensure plus'' or ''Boost'' when he couldn't stand eating. Hope that can help a little bit. Best wishes for you!

ME. *raises hand and waves franticly* I have gastroparesis, IBS and are Type 2 with high insulin resistance. I have been struggling for four years since being diagnosed diabetic. Yes, sometimes it takes awhile for the bloating to go away before the scale shows a true weight. For me it took awhile. You may have lost some…
