So if I hit about 1gprotein per pound bodyweight but fail to meet my required carb and fat goal, will I still build muscle? Somehow I'm able to push myself through workouts even if I dont have big carbs before the workout or as a preworkout snack.... My carbs before I go workout usually consist of a large apple, assorted…

Just eating foods that the average fitness fanatic wouldnt eat. Examples are like factory processed junk foods that have really no micronutrients and benefits for the body but are enjoyable

She does eat it aall

You want her instagram? Search for it 😂 if you want I'll do it [edited by MFP Moderators]

She doesnt do omad :/
-
She does.

I sometimes go out with her and I do ask her friends about her unusual weight and metabolism. All of them confirm that she does in fact eat the food and always gets a Sprite on the side

I cant bench 135 hahah. I used to do it for 7-8 but now even 1 is a struggle

But if we want to accelerate muscle building and if we plateu or stop seeing progress after months and months, should we?
-
Thanks! So it wouldnt make a difference if I somewhat lifted yesterday and had a cheat day today where I didnt lift? And I assume that's because you said the extra calories would go to building the broken muscles from yesterday?
-
Can you clarify and expand your answer. So how worse is it to not lift
-
If I'm getting weaker in ALMOST every compound movement, mainly my bench and deadlift, should I eat more? My weight has been stalling at around the same weight, but sometimes going up or down

But Chinese buffets are also a hit or miss. Some use boatloads of oil some dont. And also let's say the person choosing Chinese or GC was just someone with a big appetite who didnt care about food choices. What then would you choose for him/her
-
Honestly I would probably too because golden corral must be putting a tablespoon of oil on every dish because like a slice of pie is like 800 calories like holy
-
I'm confused so if you do eat before this 30,000 steps you expend more than if you do it semi fasted or with little/less food?
-
That's what I thought but then I pondered where you would get the calories to burn from. If you dont have food to burn, you would use fat but also MUSCLE.!!! Which if trying to bulk is a huge no no. Just my 2cents
-
Also I heard something about you needing more calories on rest days due to muscle growing but some say the opposite because workout burns calories and also the post workout thing where your muscles absorb extra calories after being broken down in workout
-
Welp I guess I answered Haha. But how bad is it
-
Fyi I have a pretty big stomach capacity and can overeat ALOT
-
I lifted for over 2 years and I'm trying to put on lean mass

I feel like my chest didnt take a beating today. Tomorrow I have back and biceps. Should I do some chest and tris and shoulders tomorrow as well?
-
Yea but it's been a rough WEEK. I would basically count this as my 4th day of inactivity. I usually workout 6 times a week so my routine is like booof
-
Oh yes I'm trying to lean bulk right now
-
Tdee calculator. Thanks

Weights 2 times a day***

Oh, I just cant fathom how 12500 steps is the equivalent of lifting weights or being a football player since I assume all athletes go under the highly active category
-
Both...
-
Not to purposely be nittty gritty but for your weight and height range about 1000 steps burns 40 calories so 40x20 is 800 calories so add that to your sedentary lifestyle option for your stats and you should get around 2800 at most right?
-
Sorry I just thought like the whole step thing was overhyped and exaggerated. Like I heard it doesnt burn a lot
