  • Thanks for all the responses. Been really interesting reading them all and everyone’s views/comments and own experiences. Just to let all know, I have taken a pay cut to take this job but have now freed myself from the commuting stress that was driving anything between 1-3hrs depending on departure time & traffic volumes.…
  • Glad to say the Magnesium really seems to be helping loosen things up. Had a really enjoyable and tough squash match earlier this evening but really glad to say my movement on and around the court had the kind of freedom that’s been missing for some time. Applied the gel before bed. Looking forward to the result in the…
  • Got Magnesium oil and gel from H&B yesterday.😊 Also, noticed they sell large bags of Magnesium Flakes (salt) to use when having a soak in the bath. 😊Wondering if this is better than the famous Epsom Salts?🤔
  • Have started to up the dosage. I have a 250mg tablet with breakfast and now dinner too. The improvement is happening but slowly. My leg muscles are slowly loosening up, allowing a greater range of flex when I stretch. Played squash last night and there was a freedom in my movement that has been missing for some time. Will…
  • Already got hooked on leisure cycling, many years ago. Got so many guide books with rides rated for difficulty levels. Glad to say, I too, have been on so many different rides, not just in London but all over the UK. Done BHF and other charity rides many times. Love following old converted railway lines and also the many…
  • Where are you located? Looks like a nice path along the river. I used to live right near the Erie Canal in Rochester NY. I miss it.[/quote] I live in Wandsworth, south-west London. Close to so many great cycle routes. Sometimes, I take the bike by car on the bike rack and start somwhere away from home. Glad to say that…
  • I live in Wandsworth, London. Close to so many great routes for leisure riding. No, I don’t know the lady. Think she was just curious as to why I would want to take a photo of a mobile cafe/burger bar...
  • Images from a nice recreational bike ride in London alongside the River Thames and in one of London’s big parks, Battersea Park.
  • Glad that they worked for you and that you don’t seem to need them anymore.
  • I typed in all the ingredients onto the MFP site and that’s the message it came up with. Was surprised myself.🤷🏻‍♂️
  • Finally, after a nr 4hr operation, got the BBQ all cleaned. Saved myself £70-100 doing it myself (depending on where you are in the UK).😅😎 Time for a refreshing shower and then some ‘brunch.’
  • Time to tackle that last and messy job after a BBQ, cleaning it out. Made use of a good tip from a friend to make the job easier, line the drip tray with foil.🤷🏻‍♂️ Also, a little plug for the cleaning product in the photo ‘Mighty Oven Cleaner,’ as it works real good, have used it before.👍🏼 Another lovely sunny day 🌤😎for…
  • Feeling real fine on this bright Sunday morning.🌤 Me at 71.4Kg or 160.7lbs😎😎

  • Today ,I completed my free NHS health check for over 50’s. Very good results. 😊 BP reading of 133/73 and resting pulse at 53. BMI at 26.4, low risk of heart attack due to lifestyle and diet. 😊 Blood taken for cholesterol and sugar check but should be good based on previous results. 😊Just need to work on…

  • There was and I think still is a TV show in the UK along the lines of ‘How to tackle’ worst jobs around the house etc. You Tube is also great for advice on how to do things...
  • No nasty surprises but as expected it was a messy and long operation of 6hrs duration to dismantle and clean it out. Pretty worn out today.😵😊
  • Hard morning at the office. Taking time out for more selfies. This jacket used to feel tight.😖 Not anymore. Nice and comfortable now.🤷🏻‍♂️😊 Hard Work & self-control is showing some rewards.😊😊

  • Twix. Missing her brother Mojo. 😔 He hasn’t been home for days now, nor has he been seen 🤔 but he’s around as one can hear his distinctively loud meow from somewhere in the neighborhood.🤷🏻‍♂️😊
  • Times are changing. Would never have worn pink in the past due to stereotyping stigma. Here I am in pink shirt as I like the colour. Loving the way my tie now hangs straight, without the outward bulge at the midriff and that my belt is comfortably at the last notch.😊

  • To be fair to the clothing chains, it’s getting better. The other day I did see trousers with XS length at 27” while jackets/shirts are being offered now in a range of cuts and lengths, unlike the old days. It’s slow progress. Also, tailoring is expensive, again, unlike the old days when my dear mum (now 83yrs) used to do…

  • Trouble with shopping online is that if the item is not quite right, you then have the hassle of sending it back and arranging an exchange or refund.

  • Change of subject slightly. I only ever take 2 items into the shower, my shower gel & a sponge to lather up and scrub with. Using a sponge also means you don’t use too much shower gel. I also, unlike many others, turn the water off while lathering and scrubbing. Turn it back on to rinse off. From what I’ve seen in the male…

  • It’s the same with smaller shoe sizes, they never carry enough stock, so the smaller sizes & probably bigger sizes too, sell out real fast on the best styles. Frustrating not being the average size person at times.

  • A fab soul filled version of ‘Satisfaction’ https://youtu.be/CpmZWUPrCgo
  • Having discovered a while back that I have an intolerance to Caffeine, I gave up Coffee & Cola and have felt much better for it. Miss the taste but not the after effects. Have cut back on most fizzy drinks too. Used to drink something everyday.
  • Our two cats, Mojo & sister Twix on top of the covered BBQ. Mojo has kind of left home now, wanders off for days, comes home for a short while, then he’s off again patrolling his ‘turf’ I suppose. Twix very much stays on home turf, never venturing much further than next door gardens.
  • Our two cats, brother & sister, had them since they were kittens, doing what cats do, endlessly sleeping by a warm radiator. Mojo on the left and his sister Twix.
  • Just got onto my bed, ready for sleep, been a long but good day. Don’t think it will be too long before my eyes close and I’m gone for the night.😵😴
