πHappy July, my lovely ladies!π I lost a few pounds last month, got cortisone shots in both my knees, and started physical therapy! Physically I'm in a much better place than at the start of June, and mentally probably too. My goal this month is consistency in eating habits and in exercise. Work days are easy for meβ¦

May Wrap-Up: 1. Eating healthy/unhealthy about 75/25β 2. Lost about 5lbs β 3. Got an MRI on both my knees and the doctor didn't see any further damage from my old meniscus tearβ but did see some damage from arthritis and wearing down of tissues due to weight β and gave me cortisone shots in both knees to help with the painβ¦

Good news, I think. My knee doctor wants me to get an MRI, but he thinks that all I'll need are sporadic cortisone shots if the images show what he suspects. So fingers crossed that that's the case (and also that my insurance approves it and relatively quickly)!!!! I'm currently looking around for a new pool to go to as heβ¦

Only a week and a bit left this month. I'm hanging in there. I was a bit ravenous over my period for the last couple of days, but I did the radical thing of listening to my body and eating when I was hungry (which granted was more times than usual) and while I did go over my calorie goal most days, I made sure I was eatingβ¦

Happy Valentine's Day! I had my first Fitness Line Dancing class and it was really fun and everyone was lovely. I was the youngest person in the class and most of the ladies were in their 50's and 60's (and two of them brought their husbands) and at least one lady was in her 70's. This week has been a mixed bag. I was away from home for three days and we ate two meals a day at restaurants and the rest was snacks. My February goal was to start weight training at the women's gym. I started going back to the gym in January, but I hurt my arm so I was just mainly using the treadmill. Last year when I went to this gym, there was a personal trainer that you could hire. But NOW there's a free trainer that does small (1 to 4 woman)β¦

January: -9lbs I'm really proud of my hard work in January. I've tried very hard to stay calm and thoughtful around food and control my binge eating.
