This month I'm trying to focus on being consistent with the little things. I tend to think too big or make grandiose plans and I set myself up to fail. So week 2 of March, I'm just trying for slow and steady.

Hello, all! I'm super excited because tonight I took my first yoga class in about 6 years. It kicked my butt, but this is the jumpstart I need. I've signed up for a trial of 6 classes (3 per week) with a friend who has been doing yoga for a while now, so hopefully she'll keep me on the straight and narrow. I haven't beenโฆ

Week 1: 240 Week 2: 232 I definitely haven't lost 8 pounds of fat๐๐๐. I was hella bloated last week, but seeing the scale go down has been great for my morale. โ Logged all my food. โ Posted twice a week. โ Stayed plant/fish based โ Doing a lot better with my after dinner snacking and I'm half-way through the keyhole scarfโฆ

It's great to see do many new women on here!!!๐ So I have been logging all my food, which is something I struggled with last time. I have been doing great for breakfast (eat at home or pack up and bring to work) and lunch (bring to work). But dinner and especially after dinner is what is getting to me. I don't snack allโฆ

So I just had a really good night and thought I'd share. My friends came over for dinner/movie night and usually this is where all my healthy eating goes out the window and leads me toward days of bad choices. We ordered Indian, and I stuck with vegetarian. I only ate half of it--there was a LOT--and only drank water. ( Noโฆ

I was doing great for the first two weeks of October. Then I went to Costco with some co-workers and we ended up splitting lots of things like muffins, chips, and a pumpkin pie. The thing that I forget about myself is that I'm a binge eater. Sometimes, I think I've got a handle on my eating, like for the first two weeks ofโฆ

So my motto for this month is: Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. It's been helping me through this week to say no to snacks and junk food at work and to make better decisions at the grocery store. On Sunday, I meal prepped for two weeks. I made 14 smoothies and froze them and I cooked two weeks worth of tofuโฆ

The last two weeks have been a struggle for me. I had a girl's night in with some friends and we ordered lots of unhealthy food. This sort of opened the floodgates of bad food choices and I'm ending the month two pounds heavier than when I started. I'm planning to restart my healthy eating habits in August. Good luck toโฆ

Monday Check-in: I'm down three pounds so far this month. I switched birth control and my PMS is hitting me really hard. I'm really bloated, so I'm hoping that next week's weigh in will be better. Work is crazy this week, so I'm really just hoping to limit any "stress relief"/mindless snacking.

Preferably with the actual person doing the instruction, because it's easier to focus and I need all the help I can get! I don'tโฆ
