  • I cannot workout in the mornings, unless I have the day off and I work out at 10 or 11am. I have a pretty active job so I am tired by the time I need to work out. I usually take pre-workout before the gym. If I exercise before work, I am exhausted and have a hard time getting through the day. Otherwise, I typically workout…
  • Welcome! I rejoins a couple of months ago, but am loving this site. It keeps me accountable to what I am eating and how much. Feel free to add me! I can use some mutual support and motivation!
  • I agree! Having calorie deficit is how you lose weight. Working out keeps you healthy, which is extremely important and can aid in the calorie deficit.
  • Hello! I just graduated with my BA and struggled with the same thing. I meal prepped a lot and did not let myself buy any bad snacks. If it is in my house, then I will eat it! Planning your food throughout the day is helpful, it can prevent you from making implies decisions. Also being very thoughtful about what you are…
  • I love Yoga with Adriene She is on YouTube and she has a lot of good videos and are not too difficult!
  • I agree, eating back 1/2 of your exercise calories is important. If you don't eat enough, it can be bad. I didn't eat enough calories and did not eat my exercise calories either and I started to become dizzy after I worked out. Another thing, your body can become "used to" the exercises and can kind of build a tolerance to…
  • I did not notice until 4-6 weeks after starting. I was strict on my food intake and exercised 4-5 days a week. Healthy weightless is anywhere from .5 lbs to 2 lbs a week, depending on how much you need to lose, so you have to lose a substantial amount to notice. If you lose a couple pounds, you can't really tell a…
  • I have a smart watch that records my exercise and steps, but when I sync it with MFP, it records it wrong or multiple times, or it won't record my steps at all for that day. I just ended up disconnecting it and putting in my exercise manually on MFP. When I was calculating my calories, different websites all told me…
  • Kroger Carb Master yogurt is actually pretty good! I like it with granola or putting it in my fruit smoothies with protein powder!
  • You don't necessarily need breakfast, but I usually do, or I will get stomach pains before lunch... or worse, hangry! I put my whey protein in a smoothie with non-fat greek yogurt, almond milk, frozen fruit, and flax seed. This gives me some of my daily carbs and fat, and also fills me up to last till lunch. Everyone is…
  • I dont want to be eating too less. Sometimes, after exercising, but before dinner, I get kind of dizzy when i stand up. I dont know if I'm just not eating at the right times, or just not eating enough. But I feel better after I eat. I dont want to waste my time exercising by eating too much.
  • I weigh 173 and my goal is 150.
  • I will try that weighing for sure! Thank you all for the advice! Its been very helpful
  • My splurge days are about once every week and half. (Other than last week cause we were celebrating) and I dont use a food scale. The other measurements are in cups and tbsp, for veggies, peanut butter, yogurt, etc. Will measuring meat make a difference? I only eat chicken and ground turkey
  • The only thing I eyeball is my meat. I typically measure out everything else I eat.
  • I have lost 8 pounds over a year and three months. I started in Jan 2018 I am logging splurge days, which come to 2000-2200 for the day. On the app I plugged in 1.5 lbs to lose each week, which gave me 1710 calories per day.
