They have a great produce section, it seems to be fresher and last longer than Walmart or Target. They have a wide array of cheeses, gluten free products and organic products. Theres also always that once in a while unique food item you can find around holidays

I love danon light n fit Greek yogurt. High protein, low sugar and fat, great taste. They have alot of good flavors, but favorites are key lime, strawberry cheesecake, and tiramisu.

I tried slim fast in the past, and it did not go well. I find that if I use a premier protein shake as a snack, or quick meal on the go it is better. The shakes are obviously way higher in protein, less sugar, less calories, and more nutrients.

I know this may suck, but you may be limited to just protein shakes and vegetables in order to lose that much in short time and only have 800 calories. Myself and my kids enjoy lara bars, kind bars, danon light & fit greek yogurt, fruit, babybel cheese, edamame, nuts, and premier protein shakes.

Chicken salad sandwiches, made with prepared chicken such as rotisseri,with salad or fruit on the side. I also have been using my air fryer alot to make things, so the house doesn't get hot with fruit or salads on the side

I love premier protein shakes. They were actually suggested to me by my nutritionist, because they do have alot of nutrients in it, and low sugar. I like the chocolate, coffee, and blueberry flavors. I love trader Joe's kung pao cauliflower, I buy it every time go there, I also grab whatever " nutrition" bar ( cliff,lara, ect.) Is on sale at the time.

Lean cuisine and smart ones are good,but as said it's the sodium issue. I feel it is sometimes better to pick a day ( i.e. Sunday) as a cooking day, then portion out your meals into ziplock/ rubbermaid type containers and put them in the freezer. I have been anemic all my life, so much that while pregnant, I had to have infusions. I take a centrum complete vitamin every morning, it has 100% of the daily iron value. There are a lot of plant based" dairy" products out there. I went through the same situation with my daughter, and the plant based worked great. If you want to keep close the same protein intake as real dairy, use soy milk products.

AnnPT77, I found that it was easier to lose some weight, also I had more energy and, I wasn't as moody,and my menstrual cycles were more on track.

I had to end up.going to.a nutritionist, also I bought a book on Amazon that broke down the type of hypothyroidism( hashimoto's) that I have. The book told about how certain foods and types can effect your thyroid and I adjusted accordingly. There ate books for every type of thyroid issue.

I was picky about protein shakes, but I found that Premier protein makes tasty shakes, and with 30g of protein they help me hit my goal. They come in a large variety of flavors and are low in sugar.

I have used greek yogurt in place of mayo and/or sour cream in many things, as long as it is seasoned well, you usually cant tell.

Make small changes, such as using lettuce instead of tortillas. I found that cutting out red meat helped me lose better than cutting carbs, so that may be something to also try.

I still use real butter most of the time, however my daughter cant have dairy and she likes the taste of " I can't believe it's not butter " plant based

I recently made "tot-chos" and my family loved it. Its basically nachos, but I used tator tots instead of chips. I topped it with ground turkey made with low sodium taco seasoning, salsa, fat free sour cream, shredded cheese and lettuce. You can change out some of the toppings to your liking.
