Hard to say. Vanilla whey with fruit and cottage cheese. Tastes like cheesecake. Chocolate whey mixed with coffee. Chocolate whey with a glob of peanut butter (liquid Reeses cup).

Drinking calories might be easier than eating them, if you have no appetite. Things like peanut butter and a banana blended into a protein shake can total up to 500-700 calories.

I did a 3x/week full body program (Stronglifts) for quite a long time and didn't see a whole lot of progress. I started a 4x/week push, pull, legs program 6 months ago and my strength really took off. It is a much more intense program, though.

If you work out on days off 1 and 3, then on either day of your next two breaks, that averages to 2 workouts per week and will save you from having to squeeze one in during your work shifts.
