@AnnPT77 - my cyber Auntie who has been an amazing help in my maintenance journey! Would you please share an example of your solid breakfast(s)? If possible, please include macros and calories.

Ditto 100%^. Virtual cyber hug @amusedmonkey .

Sandwich with cheddar, butter and Marmite made with fresh grainy-seedy bread+unsweetened hot tea, preferably black or roobois.

If you're in US, give a go to Fairlife milk. 1% sits @ 100 cals./cup and 2% is 120(this one tastes like whole milk to me). This milk has a clean and creamy taste/mouth feel. I really like that it's also lactose free and higher in protein than regular milk.

QFT!

It is excellent, just like you say! At the moment walmart.com has it in stock. 6 jars for $34.08.

This^, especially bolded.

Thank you for checking @MaltedTea! So sweet of you. I "burned out" of All Bran Buds and wanted to try something different. Sounds like they are pretty similar. Thanks for the insight!👍😊

None of the stores around me sell it. I checked Amazon (I live in US) and their price is exorbitant. Nature Path's website is "out of stock" when I check it. Oh well. Thank you for getting back!!

From where do you purchase this cereal?

@middlehaitch I was just thinking of you the other day. Glad to hear you are well! I have greatly benefited from reading your numerous posts! @VintageFeline have not had the privilege to read your posts yet... It's lovely to see such warm welcome back greetings from MFP veterans. What a great community!

Ditto^.

Ikaria.

Agreed!! You look great!!

Thank you for reminding me about canned pumpkin! I forgot all about it since "pumpkin-fall-season" was over. I re-started adding to my maple-y oatmeal and topping it with cream cheese "frosting". I also really enjoy it mixed with Greek yogurt as well... it's pretty awesome partially frozen topped with cereal.

I am in maintenance as well. Like for @cmriverside exercise is essential to keep me on track. After years of experimenting, the only exercise that doesn't dramatically increase my hunger is walking. Walking is also great for my mental state as well. It's a very useful tool for "out of nowhere munchies". Play around with…

Indeed, AMAZING! You have been an inspiration to me since I joined this forum. I've read pretty much every post by you, gleaning solid gold from your knowledgeable nuggets of wisdom! Keep thriving and living this precious life to the fullest! Thankful for you!

I haven't tasted most of their products but from long ago I remember that some flavors of their protein powder are pretty good, especially salted caramel and vanilla. Maybe they've changed.

What is your favorite recipe/way to use/eat it?

So much wisdom from @Lietchi, @lemurcat2, @MikePfirrman, @AnnPT77, @pink_mint, @lgfrie. I second all of their responses. I have found CICO to be THE most elementary tool to lose/maintain weight. No matter how you slice it, the law of thermodynamics doesn't lie. If counting calories raises negative emotions in you then…

Along the same lines...sticky rice with tahini, splash of soy sauce and crushed red pepper flakes.

Waking or jogging in place?! I have four children in the house at the moment. I take brisk walk-in-place breaks. Love it!

Brisk walking-in-place as I am reading this!😊👍🏻

I think I understand where you're coming from. I have at one point followed some body positivity / intuitive eating ideas. When you listen to proponents of that lifestyle it sounds very plausible and actually enticing. Eat when hungry, stop when satisfied and your body will settle at the weight that it's happy at. I've…

Hugs! I am also adjusting to my 4 children being home. I will share a few things that have helped me. When tempted to binge, stop yourself for a moment and ask if binging will solve your stress or will it add to it?Delay binging for 5-10 minutes. Physically remove yourself from the area of temptation. Maybe go for a walk…

These are awesome! I often sprinkle extra salt on them or use them broken into small bites as a condiment on pretzel thins. A few questions to you and @Noreenmarie1234 in regards to Quest bars. I see you both post about them. Do you find them satiating? Do you eat them as a stand alone snack or with a meal? Do you get…

Thank you @kshama2001! Exactly, stevia can be quite overpowering and frankly intolerable to my palate. "Judicious" use is a perfect way to describe this. When mixed in small amounts with sucrose or other natural sweeteners it is often not a problem.
