Banana ones are also very good, especially with nut and/or seed butter.

If pre-measured and if it fits in your caloric goal whole milk will not make you gain weight. I regularly put half and half or steamed/frothed whole milk (pre-measured) in mine and have been in maintenance for several years. No weight gain.

ATM it's Nugo Dark π« π₯¨ with Sea Salt. Does not taste like a typical protein bar but like a delicious chocolate bar that's worth spending calories for.

I love the flavor of cottage cheese but often get put off by the texture. I blend it smooth with an immersion blender. I love it!!! So good as is, as a spread/dip spirinkled with flaky salt or lightly sweetneed with a dash of vanilla.

Hugs! I get you 100%. Thankfully, my closest TJ is over an hour away now. I got "withdrawals" for a while....now it's a passing thought that occasionally crosses my mind that I swiftly put away. Had the same issue with Grocery Outlet. Unfollow. Out of sight out of mind. Take a break. Weigh the pro's and cons. Reevaluate.

What an inspiration you are! Your hard work is evident in the pics! Keep it up!ππ

I didn't like it at ALL. I would pick G Hughes if I wanted a no sugar/lower calorie option.

@o0Firekeeper0o Daisy was my favorite until I tried Good Culture. I've never tried Friendship. @skelterhelter gave a perfect description: dry(perfect degree of dryness) and dense. I also enjoy the just-right amount of saltiness as well. I wish it was available at more stores near me.

I have identical symptoms EVERYTIME I eat the foods you listed. I also get an itchy tongue from eggplant (aubergine). I also developed a sensitivity/allergy (don't have a formal diagnosis) to eggs this past year after being sick with Covid in February. So strange, I had horrible hives during the illness (never experiencedβ¦

Hugs! As @cmriverside said, walking helps. Replacing negative thoughts with positive helps me a lot. Do not worry about what the cravings will be like tomorrow/season. Focus on your goal today. Intend to follow the means to hit that goal. You've got this!

@AnnPT77 I am also in the camp of gratifying my hunger with a "li'l jolt" of something satiating to keep it in its rightful place. π€

I've been in maintenance for 4-5 years, don't remember for sure. The first 3+ years I didn't track(I didn't when losing either). I struggled A LOT with overeating and undereating. I did not have a concrete plan of action for maintenance. Then I was introduced to calorie counting and it clicked. I liked the idea of having aβ¦

This gives so much insight on your thought process during this experiment. Thank you for sharing! Love it! ππ

Exactly. Sorry, I should've mentioned from the beginning that I am in maintenance. I am a numbers person too. I do set a manageable TDEE eating goal and if I end up more active than goal I bank those calories for future use. BTW, I am thankful for your participation on this forum! You give sound advice!

Thank you @Lietchi, @nanastaci2020, @Duck_Puddle and @HorsesRock9999 for your replies! My main issue is that my Fitbit and MFP rarely(maybe once a week?!) sync at the end of the day at 11:59 p.m. I set it to "All Day sync" hoping it would sync at the end of the day by itself. I usually manually sync Fitbit before I go toβ¦

Thank you so much @heybales! I am actually in maintenance. I thought there was something magically unique and more accurate if two are linked. π

Thank you for sharing your journey! πππ Good call on taking it slower as you tread down into the lower weight range! ππ»

That combo look like something I would enjoy. A LOT. Do you order those or buy them locally?

My favorite as well!!!

Hi friend! Did your NEAT change since April? Even if it a small change like 70 cals a day that could be a gain of couple of pounds over a course of 4 months. I hear ya in terms of being attached to an eating goal #. If I was in your shoes I would shave off a 100-150 cals for 6-8 weeks and see what happens. You've got this!!

@MikePfirrman I think you are describing Muhammara. Does that sauce have finely chopped walnuts in it? If it's muhammara you are describing it is AMAZING! My MIL used to make it like no other. She even made her own pepper paste and cracked walnuts that went into it. The sweetness comes naturally from red bell peppers. Iβ¦

Toum is delicious! I remember slathering copious amounts of it on my pita bread before MFP. Then one day I decided to make it myself and was horrified when I calculated calories per serving. I must have eaten half of my TDEE everytime we had it on the menu. Za'atar is so versatile. It's delicious on flatbreads, grains,β¦

Big virtual hug Kathryn. I pray dad's hip heals soon! Happy 30th anniversary! May you have a lovely celebratory dinner with your beloved! π

OP, like many others I recommend budgeting for an after dinner snack you can enjoy without guilt. I did it in the loss phase and now in maintenance.

@AnnPT77 Thank you so much for taking the time to type this out and the image is very helpful! ππ€ I've read several posts where you mention your breakfast oats and how they are satiating for you. I was curious what you added. I will experiment with my oatmeal concoction to make it more satiating for me.
