Cool, take small steps and adjust as you go. It can be overwhelming if you try to change too much all at once.

Everyone has to start somewhere! Definitely do some research on diet and exercise and make use of MFPs features on calorie and macro calculations, it uses a pretty widely accepted formula if you input your info correctly. Try and think of some things you can can cook en masse so that you have ready, and things that are…

All the best man, do you have a plan?
-
I think you should be eating around 3000 a day split evenly between the macros.

I'm 28, also trying to bulk as cleanly as possible from the leanest I've ever been. I'm doing it with balanced macros & 2500 calories a day. What does 80/20 look like for you?

I use MFP

I track daily, working backwards from my calorie goal. Currently they are evenly split.

You'll need to look closely at your diet to make sure you're eating enough and that your hitting your macros. If you're just starting out, a good idea is to balance your macros evenly.

I can understand that for sure. Try and look for more calorie dense foods, like whole eggs, avocados, peanut butter, olive oil, etc. It'll help you get your calories easier.
-
Do you think you're eating enough?
-
Ah yes, summer is almost over here! Time to put on size for the winter 🤣

Honestly not sure if my picture is showing

Looks interesting. I'm starting a lean bulk as well, hope to achieve the same result.

Hey Shane my suggestion is to set up your calorie goal based on your activity level, and eat that amount no matter what excercise you do. It's basically impossible to know how many calories you actually burn, I think trying to do it just overcomplicated things.

Plateaus can happen for many reasons. You have dropped a lot of weight very quickly, probably a lot of it was water weight as you've likely eliminated most carbs. Stay on your plan and if your weight hasn't gone down for at least 3 weeks, reduce your daily calories. Take it slow, that's best way to achieve lasting results.

Can you give some insight into your current diet?

They say abs are made in the kitchen. It's not too far away from being accurate.
