  • I snack on fresh fruit, sunflower seeds, in the hulls, and pickles. Logging food has helped me to find low cal foods. I eat 2 small breakfasts, lunch, dinner. I keep busy enough that I've learned to quit thinking about what I can eat all the time. My fitbit keeps me walking every hour and that keeps me away from the frig,…
  • That's so funny...hold your head up high, you're doing great!!! Oh, you did have underwear on, right???
  • Savory. I'm getting away for the "sweet" taste, thank you!
  • I've had my Fitbit for 1 whole day! I'm lovin' it. It's the boost I need to keep on truckin'!
  • Oh yeah, I didn't mention, I make my own whey protein shakes and also my own protein bars. Ya know, now that I write this all down, I'm probably getting plenty. And like cmriverside says, I don't have any medical issues and I do drink lots and lots of water. Thank you!
  • Thank you for the comments. I really liked that article and it explains things well. That's kinda what I thought. I don't weigh my food, but have a pretty good idea about portions. Been in the kitchen for many years. I only weigh myself once a week, trying not to be strangled by the numbers. Thanks for the encouragement, I…
  • Me: LNS 0 Streak: 7 wks. I take my partial out, brush my teeth, and set my mind to: "Nothing is going to pass these lips today!" Period. I've lost 18 lbs in 7 weeks, which I know is a good weight loss. But in the 7th week, I lost nothing. Discouraged!
  • Thank you!
  • I work out at home. I watch YouTube videos, mostly Fitness Blender. Today I did an abs/legs work out for 20 minutes, did strength training with 10 lb dumbbells for 10 minutes. Rode my bike to work, ran errands for 20 minutes. 68 1/2 yrs. old.
  • I'm so sorry about your struggle and I pray that you will overcome your eating disorder. My husband has his junk food, I even buy it for him when I shop. BUT...I'm SO SICK AND TIRED OF BEING OVER-WEIGHT that I have finally got this mind set...I am no longer going to eat those empty calories. So, his candy, popsicles and…
  • Good for you! I've been changing my eating for 5 wks. I'm looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow. I've been on this website for about a week and it's been a HUGE help to me! It really make me think before I put something in my mouth. If I make better choices, I can eat 3 meals a day and even a snack. Let's keep on…
  • Oh I'm a sugar-aholic, but I haven't eaten sugar for 6 weeks and have lived thru' it. It was hard at first, cuz dessert was a fun habit for me. I do eat fruit, but I know if I eat a little candy here, a little cake there, it'll be on...that's just me! I brush my teeth after dinner and don't eat dessert. Last night I had a…
  • I've been at this for 6 wks and down 13 lbs. I have 20 more to go. I've been eating whole foods, low carb and no sugar. This web site has really opened my eyes to making every bite count and getting exercise. I am 68 1/2, I still work. I do low impact cardio, strength training 5 days a wk for 30 minutes. I ride my bicycle…
  • I'm just getting started, but I've lost 13 lbs, so far, got 20 more to go and I cannot believe how much better my achey knees are feeling! Thank you, Jesus...I'm gonna keep a goin'!
  • It was, and it was quick and easy. I have 2 containers, single serving size, left over, too. I had to make pork chops for my husb, he ain't into peppers and onions!
  • I was a real sugar-aholic, bad....and I quit cold turkey. It was hard at first, but I'm not missing it now. Bad habits are hard to break. We went to a Chinese buffet last night and sat by the dessert bar. I ate steamed clams, steamed shrimp, sushi (just the fish) and green beans and mushrooms...drank hot tea, plain. I…
