I also like the positive perspective provided by NovusDies; however, I do believe that “the stigma of obesity” is a real thing. I have felt the sting of it over the past several years. Whether or not it is intentional or not, in my experience being obese has impacted the way I am treated.

I have been struggling with my high BP for several years...currently taking 6 BP medications. The past 5 days my BP has been 130/90 or lower. This is a huge improvement for me!! I don’t see my cardiologist again until Dec. 16th, but if this improvement continues I am hopeful I will be taken off of some of the medications.
