I weigh daily, but I'm trying to lose weight. Once I'm at maintenance, I plan to continue weighing because the way I gained 40 pounds was by ignoring what was happening. Will it need to happen every day? Maybe not, I don't know. I will be aware that fluctuations happen, just as I'm aware of it now.

I've heard that argument before, but I don't know about it. Because while almonds certainly do take up water and use pesticides...so do cows and the plants that are necessary to feed them. And I say this as someone who consumes cow dairy and doesn't intend to stop.
