Not suggesting it is, but at some point, people do.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or asked (didn't see it). But... if you are finding the only way to create a calorie deficit to lose weight is to exercise - then what happens what you decide to back off on the exercise and eat the same as you currently do? Thinking long-term...

It can be a difficult time of year once Thanksgiving rolls around. For some, food seems to continuously come out of nowhere - most of it high calorie. It's good to enjoy but at some point (not sure where, myself), it's overload. Keeping 'things' in check can be a challenge. Forward is the only way to go.

Always interested in adding interactive friends as well. My profile is up to date should you want to know more about me and think we may have something in common.

I would also like to toss out there that routine maintenance on a C2 is required but not difficult. All machines require something. This machine doesn't require a whole lot and is not time consuming nor does it require special tools. All generic stuff.

A Concept2 is actually not terribly priced compared to some other types of machines.

Rowing can be a great part of an overall exercise plan. I've been rowing for 6 years and logged about 6.5 million meters. I think it's about as good as on overall body workout possible for one single machine. It's not completely 100% total body, but very close as a single machine accommodates. If you can do it in tandem…

I'll try the daily step goal. A little 'challenging' perhaps for me because some (many) of my workouts are not step based so on the days where I hit it hard, I don't worry about steps (like today). Otherwise I do look at them. That said, I try to get a minimum of 8000 in daily.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It’s not my first time here (been on/off a handful of times, actually). Lost 50+lbs in 2013 using the tools here however I realized I had lost too much and put about 20 back on. My goal now is to try dropping about 10 again to see if that is sustainable. Never, ever been a part of any challenge…
