Walking is great for you physically and mentally and if you can’t get outside, try some of the walking videos that are on YouTube. Good luck!

I don’t know how comfortable you would be doing this, but you could jump rope. That way you wouldn’t have to leave your truck and you could get some great cardio.
-
😂 Don’t quit! Are you having a hard time waking up earlier? I know I was and I hate afternoon workouts but maybe you could try that. Good luck.

@DD265 I can definitely relate. I love feeling stronger because I can remember when lifting 10 pounds was a strain for me. It’s been a week and a half since I’ve added cardio back into my routine and I feel great! Good luck!

@Littlemizzmochrie Swimming is great exercise!!! @dewd2 I couldn’t agree more. My diet is really what I need to focus on tweaking. While I’m seeing subtle changes in my body, I know that if my diet was balanced and under control then I would see a huge difference by now.

Don’t overwhelm yourself and don’t be too hard on yourself. It sounds like you’re off to a good start. My piece of advice would be to walk. That has helped me physically and mentally. Just take 30 minutes and walk. Before I started exercising, I did intermittent fasting and that helped tremendously also. You got this! Just…

I’ve been experimenting with cardio and weight lifting and recently added my morning cardio back into my routine. It’s definitely mental and physical exercise!

@AnnPT77 Very well said! This week since I’ve added cardio back to my regimen, I feel really good. I’ll pay attention to how I feel going forward and make adjustments as needed. Thanks so much!

Attitude is important but in the beginning, it’s common to feel like “I can’t do this!” What worked for me was first creating a habit. Once I created a habit and started to feel better, then my attitude shifted in a positive direction!!! This varies by person. So if someone is struggling with being positive, try this…

I’m able to do a lunge. At first I hated lunges and burpees equally, but now I just hate burpees! 😂
-
@CTtugboating Thanks for your response. So you never do both in the same day? What I did this week (Sunday and today) was a mile walk - moderate pave according to MFP and some upper body weight training - the heaviest dumbbells I use are 20 lb, so super light. As for my diet, I have drastically increased protein and…

Bryan Syuki on YouTube is GREAT! Highly recommend.

@Beautyofdreams Got it! Great advice.

@AnnPT77 Thank you! I do think I need to pay more attention to exactly what I’m eating and snacking on. @abarocio I definitely have to enjoy what I’m doing so that I will continue to do it. Walking to me is undefeated. Thank you!
-
@ninerbuff Correct! I think I’m just overwhelming myself thinking about when I should do what exercises. With the right diet and exercise I should be fine.
-
Congratulations and good luck with your journey.

In the beginning, I would keep reminding myself of my goal. Eventually, exercise became a part of my daily routine. Once you start to love the way it makes you feel, you won’t need as much motivation. You will just do it! Good luck!

You got this girl! 💪🏾 Chloe Ting is how I started my weight loss journey. Stay consistent and you will definitely see the results. Good luck!

You look great! Great work.

@DancingMoosie I’m going to do some research on these tonight. Thank you! @kshama2001 I know right! That guy is unbelievable! 😂 You have to laugh to keep from crying nowadays. Thankfully I do have power, water and heat! Still praying for those that don’t. I’m not built for this type of winter but after seeing you guys, I…

Another update: The snow is really cramping my style. 😕 I’ve been resorting to strength training more than normal, just to keep my momentum.
-
I also love MadFit on YouTube as well.
-
You guys should definitely try MrandMrsMuscle. Above is the workout I did yesterday and below is what I did today.
-
I’m loving Mr. and Mrs. Muscle right now. They do 4 sets instead of 3 and the workouts really give you a good burn.
-
I agree that you should start off walking. As far as eating habits, I started my journey doing intermittent fasting. I didn’t cut out any foods initially and lost 20 pounds. I hope you find what works for you.
-
Hello! You got this. Feel free to add me. 🤗
-
I’m not sure why exactly, but that’s the way the app is setup.
-
I’m at 270 days and I can’t wait to get to 365.
-
Update: I’ve been doing the same thing I do in the summer. The only difference is I don’t walk/jog as long because the sun comes up later. I have officially changed my lifestyle. 😏😉

Today was my first day that I really worked up a sweat doing some weight training, so I think I’m going to keep this up. Can’t wait to see the work pay off. Thanks for your response. @netitheyeti
