The Fall - an Irish crime/drama series from several years back. compelling, disturbing and binge worthy.

-
well THAT'S the ultimate tease if it doesn't taste like that!

most of my MFP friends who do have open diaries - eat WAY more protein than i do. i found just adding extra egg whites to my every other day omelette was so much more satiating. i'm making it a point to do this. not like i'm getting rid of carbs any time soon tho :D 19 AF days this month. happy weekend all
-
then you really ARE a super heroine! :)
-
Jenna - you ought to be in an action movie as the female kick *kitten* lead. so strong and beautiful ! you're inspirational

i'm so sorry to hear this! kids are so cruel. and things seem so much more difficult these days than when we were growing up...

alcohol triggers so much of what is no dealt with from our past, or our coming to terms with it. it also is something we use when we feel wronged, misunderstood, hurt or angry. covid certainly doesn't help these feelings. if we have non AF days - we still have to remember to be kind to ourselves. nobody else can do that…

oh my goodness... SO young to have lost your mother, my sincere condolences. no wonder you have doctor anxiety. i have friends who have been on tamoxifen and who have had breast cancer also. like others say - one either goes off on a tangent to ruin or do all in their power to have as healthy a life as can be. thank you…
-
thank you so much... dementia is such a sad digression to contend with for all concerned. mother's day is bittersweet for those of us who are mothers but have also lost a mother. it's all part of life but still .... AF days do help. keep going - we all have our cross to bear in some capacity or another... <3

@Womona - i could see how your father would feel - absolutely. for me i've lived a pretty healthy life and have always been physically active. we are a very nuclear family so i have no death wish - believe me. it just hit me hard yesterday. today is a new day - thank you for sharing what happened within your family... <3…

it was 25 years today my mom passed away of ALS. she'd just celebrated her 60th birthday. oddly enough, we were both diagnosed at 55. i will be 60 in november. i can't help but wonder .... anyone here - have you had a parent die relatively young, and now you are also sick and wonder if you'll die at the same age they did?…
