Accomplished a Mini Goal last night as I finally ran a sub 28 minute 5K! (27:44) I started running just over a year ago and for my first 5K I ran a 36:40. My wife and i play it every day as well as most of the people in the office. Usually get it in four or five. Did a two once or twice, very rarely get skunked.

Completed my first Super Sprint Triathlon! Finished second in my age group in 56:16. And if I stretch a little loose skin I have abs!!!!

Most weeks I eat red meat (beef) twice a week. On Wednesday I have a 4oz. Roast Beef sandwich for lunch. On Sunday nights I have a 4oz. Cheeseburger. Once in a while I'll swap the burger for a small steak!

Ran my first 10 mile race today! Originally it looked to be fun and scenic but the weather turned nasty. Horizontal rain driven by 40 to 50 mph winds! It was brutal in places! Way to go! I too am in the 5'-10" club! I started my journey at 239 lbs and bottomed out after a year and a half at 153 lbs. I've now settled in around 160 lbs which seems to be a nice number for me. As always, the proof is in the picture:

It's been about six months since I have lost 85 pounds. I am still trying to get use to the guy looking back at me in the mirror! The weirdest is walking through the Mall or a store and catching a side glance in a mirror and freaky out after not recognizing myself!

Well that was kind of snotty! Not from everything I've read. I have to strongly disagree with this. So you're just ignoring the "Fed" and "Fasted" body states? Well it helped me lose weight a lot better then non-fasting while consuming the same number of calories. To each their own!
