I do my weigh in every week on a Saturday mmorning.its good to see on a weekly basis what's happening to my body. But times when I'm bloating or I know my hormones are going wild I don't take those weigh in seriously. I look at the bigger picture.

This may be a little deep, but on top of having more attention drawn to you and people treating you better... The Body distortion just doesn't go away that easily... I will always see myself as bigger than what I am. And I know another friend who lost loads of weight who deals with the same thing as me.

This may sound silly, but being able to see a bit more definition around my stomach and back 😅. Also fitting in clothes which are a size or 2 lower than I once was! That's a nice little win for me.

Those small steps are what matters in my mind!. I still can't see my weight loss when I look in the mirror, even though the scale and clothes size says otherwise. But for me it was those little wins that kept me going, the tightening your belt buckle a little bit more, or just in general feeling a little bit more…

Same here! I'm 22months PP, (not sure when you can actually stop saying you're PP!) Looking to find same minded people to keep motivated, I'm a few kgs off my goal but it's been such a rollercoaster! :)

I've been IF on and off for well over a decade now, It was part of my everyday life when I was 16/17, I would never have breakfast, then a little bit of lunch and then a bit of dinner, but I was never hungry and my body was fine with it. I went through a period and gained a lot of weight, only started IF again about 6/7…

Yeah I've only really started the past week... so should I just persist? And then hope that water weight just goes away haha. It can be a bit deflating as it feels like I'm doing the opposite of what I want!

Should of been more specific ha, yeah its more with dumbell for weights, jump rope for cardio and exercises for core. I agree with this 100%, I used to do coastal walks at least once a week and used to walk everyday after work in the summer and do about 5-6miles a day. Got to my fittest level ever in just a matter of about 4/5 months.

Not new, been on here on and off for a few years. Trying back it again. Need motivational friends who will convince me that going to a leisure centre for various activities 4 days a week is a good idea! 😂
