I woke up to the sweetest voice mail and text. ☺️
And…
Evelyn June was born at 11:53 last night.
She’s the first daughter of my buddy Dylan and his wife. It was high risk due to ovarian cysts and scoliosis with rods and pins. Doctors didn’t think she’d ever get preggers.
Look at that head of hair!

A kindergartener came up to me and asked if he could show me something in the field. I said yes. He held my hand an walked me to a patch of white clovers and he said "look teacher, aren't they beautiful? There's also some bees on them. They are pretty too"
That just made my heart so happy. He saw the beauty in weeds!! 💜5 -

My 3yr old niece that I’m babysitting today doesn’t know how to say my name “Aunt Kate” and she started calling me “Pancake” and I think it is the cutest thing 😭🤣🥰7

on my drive into work there were two small ducks on a jade mossed pond, and the sun was just skimming the horizon and gilding all the landscape, and I am just so in love with life right now and I know these moments are precious and few and I want to thank the God I don’t believe in for giving me this lovely, lovely world and for placing me in it at just this place and time3

Seeing the kids from my littlest guys school waiting in line by the fence to walk up. We walk up towards them and so many of them are excited to see him and call his name and they all say hello. Like they are all genuinely excited to see each other in the morning. And one says “dab me up” to my son. So he does. And it’s hilarious.3

my little Bennett... he's my 2.5 yo kitty and he's just so darn special to me. He is hearing impared, clumsy, his fur is super soft and he follows me around like a little shadow. Well actually, he tries to be ahead of me, but since he can't hear me, he stops and trips me every where I go!
He always has a concerned or stunned look on his face and I couldn't possibly adore him more.

Having a chat with one of my customers at work today and him talking about his family made me smile. He really loves them and has such admiration when talking about them! Nice to talk to a family man!1
