    A job interview and being told I hope you choose us

    Calling my next ride I volunteered for for Friday. People are so happy when you call them to let them know they have a drive I guess a volunteer driver is nicer than a cab or Uber? This'll be a super easy one since it's close

    Last night's dinner called for mashed potatoes, but my pantry only held a single potato, not enough for a family of 6. In a panic I improvised by dicing it, dousing in olive oil and a random mixture of 6 different spices, throw it into the oven to bake. Not only did my wife and kids love it, they asked me to make it again for other meals in the future.

    Thanks! Ideally something I think is called naval engineering or something something maritime but the program he just got accepted into is mechanical engineering which I guess is his second choice.

    He’s a sweet boy and internally motivated and he has done almost every step all on his own. He loves cats (and all animals) and video games and baking and has learned to be really gentle with other people’s feelings and I am very proud of him
