  • Great ideas, never heard of shiritaki! This week I have used tzatziki instead of mayo or dressing, adds a lot of flavor for low carb/fat
  • Thanks for the great feedback, yes 60 and have been very fit uo to 4 years ago. Hate losing a year to injury. Appreciate your thoughts and will apply!
  • You cant wait to "feel" like working out, you just need to start moving, I am frequently really slow the first 5 or 10 minutes but then my energy kicks in.
  • If you navigate to PLANS in the app, there is a Myfitnesspal 101 that takes you through the app! I just found it myself
  • Based on your feedback I think I need to make little changes in my morning and evening routines, like 15 min on the exercise bike in the evening if the TV is on. I am a bit slow in the morning due to sleep med hangovers, maybe 10 min of yoga or a short walk a few days a week would help. Thanks again for your inspiration!

I go for high protein, low carb, low fat. The book The One Year Challenge was helpful in helping me determine macro goals and understand more about building…

I havent been on an eating plan very long but I think less sugar, processed food, gluten, alcohol are helping me feel better. I have also been taking probiotics and apple fiber which I have never done and trying to…
  • I tend to like warm drinks in the winter. I use a little lemon juice and monk fruit sweetener or fresh mint leaves. And then there are the Costco cases of selzer. Sometimes I put my selzer in a wine glass and add a wedge of orange or cucumber or rasberries. Makes me feel like I am having a cocktail.
  • Add me too. Its tough to lose after 50 but lets share tips on what works and support each other. I tried Noom (in 2021 AND recently) and it didnt work at all. Haven't been this heavy since pregnant decades ago. I am hoping that tracking my macros in MFP will help (high protein, low carb, low fat to start). I love hiking…
