@spirittrail That's so encouraging and inspiring! Congrats on that loss!! Side note, I LOVE Age of Adeline lol. One of my favorite movies.

Had to get a new computer and have just got it set up with MFP. Here are the NSVs from the week: Tuesday: Had neck pain all day (I think a result of over-working an old injury) but still managed to eat well and get my usual work done. Did a yoga workout via youtube Wednesday: Hardly slept, but got myself out of bed and…

Monday NSVs! Weightlifting class #2! Had to modify a couple things but I survived need to remember to drink more water before class Looked in the mirror while getting dressed and didn't think negative thoughts about my torso/stomach shape.
-
Weekend NSVs: Survived first weightlifting class and learned some of what I thought were limitations are totally normal for beginners Went swing dancing and didn't feel winded/tired (did get a blister, need better shoes) Got 8k steps in on Sat despite my thighs burning from Friday's efforts Said no to binge eating during a…

Finally got the photo working! 185 lbs sickly versus 200 lbs but getting healthier

I'll have to add the photo from my computer. The app isn't cooperating 😅

Some base information on me to start off: I realized my weight and general health was making me miserable with I hit 201 lbs in college (Running Start student, so I was technically 17/an upper HS kid). I didn't really know what I could do about it, but my Mum had told me about MFP so I downloaded it then to try. I watched…

Went to a swing dance with some friends last night and it was so fun. I'd love to be able to do a dip next time though. Need to improve my core strength (doable through my fitness classes I just started!) and lose about 20 lbs (1/3 of my total weight loss goal) to feel comfortable doing it though. Wish me luck! This goal…

My mini goal is to get to 7 days streak of logging on MFP. Fell off for a few months due to mental health flare-ups and am trying to ease back into good choices. I don't eat enough calories unless I'm tracking and need to!

I shocked people when telling them my age. They thought I was at least 7 years younger! My whole life everyone has always assumed I was 10-15+ years older, so it felt so so good. Also, this morning I noticed that even though I still have a little bit of a pouch on my belly, I can see my belly button without sucking in my…

Like @SueBarry1 I'm also in the process of going down from 200 to ~140. This is my third try because I keep bouncing back into the low 190s and losing my confidence I can actually do it. This time feels different because I'm not focusing on the weight - I'm focusing on my mental health and physical strength, and how what I…

@Bluetail6 Look at you go! Incredible work, friend, keep it up!
-
Welcome back @Walela617 ! Excited to see how your progress comes along! And happy happy birthday! Hope you had a good one.
-
@itladyee That would be the dream for sure! Definitely a big motivator. What new goals are you going to meet before end of year? What will you do to help yourself meet them? No shame in changing up the goals a bit to be achievable! Other main motivator for me is I want to be able to keep up with the middle and high…

I had some mental health stuff and some physical health stuff come up and both those took my time, energy, and motivation. Bad decisions were made. But also some good ones. Either way, I'm back! And back up to 189 again :grimace: But I know what works best for my mental and physical health this time around, and I have some…

@MadisonMolly2017 A little bit of an artist. A poet and an amateur photographer. Not by trade though; I work in financials for nonprofits  Today I'm back down to 187.2 after hitting 188.8 over the holiday week. Sigh. But I'm resuming my diet and exercise plan that I know works for me tomorrow and that I know makes…

The year is getting away from me! July 8th already!? Rode 4.2 miles on Saturday but couldn't access the site to put it here until today! Current stats: 58.0/2024

186.8 today. 36.8 lbs to go, 26 weeks left in the year. I'm the opposite from you @MadisonMolly2017 Food is easier for me to lock in, it's the exercise and especially the sleep routine that I can't quite seem to get down. But baby steps! I'll get there.

Was gone at camp all week for summer staff training and didn't track well - Back up to 188.6 this morning. I will be done again in the next three weeks though!

Not a great ride, but my energy was way low after work yesterday: https://www.strava.com/activities/11573644426 Hoping to do better tonight! Current stats: 53.8/2024

I'm back! 8.9 miles last night and 1.1 this morning before work. Going to try to get in another 10-15 tonight after dinner! 52.3/2024

Life has been crazy! Getting back to this though, I need it!! Did 7.9 miles between last night and this morning. Hoping to get in a longer ride tonight, but we'll see how the day goes. Current stats: 50.2/2024

Ran my very first 10k and needed a good cool down. Rode an easy pace, 6.8 miles after some stretching. Back home after a week of house sitting and eager to get back on the bike every day! Current stats: 42.3/2024

After Taekwondo last night decided to hop on the bike. Was trying to push myself a little, but I think I was already pretty tired. Averaged 11 MPH which *is* faster than usual. Working to raise that number though! https://strava.com/activities/11109317387 Current stats: 35.5/2024
-
My hope was to get two rides in yesterday but that didn't end up happening. No morning ride today either. The work week is getting ahead of me already! I'm so impressed when I see everyone else's ride lengths! My plan is to build up to 15-20 miles as my regular, but first I need to get used of doing this often again…

Watching TV while on the bike is actually nicer than sinking into the couch and getting all stiff. https://strava.app.link/rprvL9hnsIb Current stats: 26.8/2024 Slowly but surely!

Morning ride on the stationary bike. Kinda slow because I did it while playing a video game on the TV 😅 Great workout though! https://strava.app.link/HcSu5Nd7mIb Current stats: 19.3/2024

I would love to join in on this! The only bike ride I have logged is 4 miles from this morning. I will start logging these in Strava now though! Joining from a stationary bike Current stats: 4/2024
