@AnnPT77 get well quick. I feel your pain of trying to follow doctors orders when it doesn’t at all fit our lifestyle! Interesting observation reading this thread, (and many others, and also just living life). There are those of us who were just blessed with ridiculously high energy levels and we don’t know the word “no”.…

At 5”2, my BMI changes very rapidly! I am officially Obese, but you would never know from looking at me:) my shirts are all small or medium (not tight fitting at all) I have quite a lot of muscle and I carry it well. I can’t imagine ever getting over into the normal category which is lower 130s, but I will keep working on…

Hi, that is awesome that you have so much data. Love the analysis! Something else that would be cool for you to see and would potentially provide useful data. Time of 1st meal with total calories eaten. (Maybe even averaged out by week) some of us think that the longer we push off our first meal the less we’ll eat…

Happy birthday! Congrats on your incredible loss, and for taking the steps to make your own life better🎉 In my community there have been many very heavy women (and a lot of not very heavy women) who have lost significant amounts of weight very quickly with drugs since they became popular. Because they have become so…

I did 9 pushups in a row, starting from flat on the ground. Doing even one pushup has only been doable in the past when I’m feeling super super fit.

Until 2 years ago, my fear of dentists was through the roof! (Think someone saying the word dentist would turn me white!) Thankfully I found a new dentist with great beside manner and I’m slowly getting over my fear! I don’t track my food, but I do weigh it and make a plan. I know that not tracking is not recommended but…

Thanks! Got them on today. Wasn’t as horrible an experience as I was expecting. Thankfully I haven’t experienced any pain yet🤞. I’m not much of a snacker, but I’m hoping that I’ll see results from those small snacks that I’m no longer having. I was preparing the fruit for tomorrow’s smoothie and I love to have one piece.…

I have successfully lost close to 30 lbs in the past 10 months. Unfortunately my progress has been slowing down and I am ready to rebuckle down and get the loss started again. Officially every time you eat you have to take out your trays, and then brush and floss. So every small snack that you want now comes along with a…

When I started my journey I switched to the smaller size snack bags and it has made all the difference! My single serving of pretzels now looks exactly like this instead of it looking like a measly little portion in a huge snack bag!

Thank you! I think i tried it on the biggest one and just didn’t go back far enough. Now I can get my inspiration again:)

Love that! That must have been really rough sitting it out for that long when you thought you were ok. But that’s amazing that you listened and you’re reeping the rewards. I’m listening in terms of not running/playing sports, but I’m having a harder time with things that fall outside of black and white. Like I can walk,…

Thanks! I have plantar fasciitis as well. 😩 thankfully it doesn’t stop me, just means I cry extra at the thought of getting up in the morning 😝 The problem that I’m having here is that I’m too motivated! And in order to get better I need to let myself rest. I never thought that would be my problem…. The very first day that…

I broke my foot 3.5 months ago and had surgery 12 days after. I was off my feet completely for 7 weeks. I had lost about 20 lbs at that point, and was playing basketball 1-2 days a week and climbing 2-3 days a week. My average step count was well over 10k assumed that most of my weight loss was from the amazing exercise I…

When I’m traveling I definitely end up eating an icecream razzle for dinner once in a while. It’s yum, has protein and keeps me full! I would never do it on a consistent basis, but 2-3 times a year seems fair 😊

I casually borrowed clothes from a friend. That is not something I have ever done before!!

Thanks to everyone for your helpful responses! Has anyone tried and had success with a night splint? For those that went the exercise route, how long of consistent stretching did it take to notice a difference? Is that something that you need to continue for life?

Thank you!

3.5 months ago I did bloodwork to try to get onto insurance, and I found out that I was prediabetic and had slightly elevated cholesterol. I lost 10 lbs since then and just redid my bloodwork and everything came back normal! I am quite relieved to have that off my head!

Hi! Thanks to everyone who responded here. Just wanted to give a follow up. It’s 3.5 months later and I lost 10 lbs. All of my numbers are now in a normal range, and I am no longer considered pre diabetic!🎉🎉

If you’re still looking I would love to connect!

Hi there, I’m 23 and I feel like the younger crowd is definitely underrepresented on here! Let’s try to have a bigger presence:)

I set my goal in happy scale and weigh myself every day so that I can just look at the trends and not get discouraged if my weigh in day is a high fluctuation day. I broke my goals down into 15 small milestones of slightly more than 4 lbs each. It’s a very motivating way to track your progress. I try to reward myself for…

Thanks for the response! I’m just starting out here. I’m 5”2 SW is 197, GW is 130. So I do have a significant amount to lose. I play basketball 1-2 times a week but other than that my only exercise is walking, so I don’t consider myself highly active.

Hi! I’m new here:) can you please add me to a team?

Hi! Just came across this thread. Can you give examples of good habits to form that will help with weight loss/healthier lifestyle?

Hi! I’m 23, and need to lose weight! You can add me😄

Thank you! I’m starting to feel like a special snowflake 😩 Am I the only super young person on here struggling with this? Or just the only one that got lucky enough to do routine bloodwork and find out about this while it’s still a relatively easy fix? (My Dr thinks that if I lose 5 lbs in the next year it will reverse…

Wow! Doesn’t it take about 3 months for A1c levels to go down? That’s amazing that you were able to do it so quick. I’m at 5.8, so hopefully I can get to normal numbers pretty quick!
