My vote goes for the NInja also. I have the one with all the extras and it works great. As far as cleaning, if you rinse it as soon as you make your smoothie there is no problem with the cleaning.

Hi there, I went back and looked at your diary. it looks very good. Except for today you have had a good protein to carb ratio. Your protein was a little low today. All of the carbs you are eating are from nuts/veggies etc so they are good carbs. Good luck to you!

One of the things to remember is as you start a new exercise program and especially Insanity, Your body holds onto water to both keep you hydrated and to repair the micro tears in your muscles. Keep with it and make sure you eat some protein within 30 mins of finishing exercising to help rebuild the muscles.

What I do is weigh the pepperoni on a food scale after it comes out of the microwave and log that amount in MFP. All of the weight lost during cooking is fat. You will still end up logging more calories and fat than what you actually ingest because the majority of calories in Pepperoni is fat. I have found I lose about 50%…

Just do a search on here for under active thyroid. There are a few groups and lots of past posts. Good luck on your journey.

The only thing I buy Fat Free is Fage plain greek yogurt. Everything else I buy the full fat product and work the fat into my daily allowance. When you buy fat free you are just replacing the fat with sugars. I'd rather have the fat anyday.

You can add it to your coffee. Make sugar free jello with a scoop of protein, Google "muffin in a minute" you will come up with a ton of recipes for making a breakfast muffin, I like to take a 6 oz container of Fage 0% plain Greek yogurt, add a scoop of chocolate protein, 2 tbls of Chocolate PB2 ( peanut Butter powder), 1…

I mix my chocolate protein powder with my coffee.

I have had weight loss surgery, so I take a liquid vitamin to help with the absorption. Pills sometimes move through the digestive system to fast to be absorbed properly and since I have started taking the liquids, my labs have been perfect. So I will make adjustments for the calories and carbs. Small price to pay for good…

I do log mine. I was just wondering if others did.

Go to the website of the place you bought it and see if they have nutritional info on there.

What you eat during those weeks really depends on the type of surgery you are having and the nutritional requirements. If it is WLS you need to be careful of what you are eating, If it is some other type of surgery then you have many more options. If you are having WLS feel free to friend or message me and I share some of…

Some questions amaze me. Do a little research. Go directly to the Golden Corral website and look at the nutritional Info they have posted. It is really easy. Don't rely on others to do what you should be doing.

Go to the Tools section at the top of the MFP page and you will see a place there where you can sync your Fitbit with MFP

I'm using Joyce Verdal's Bottoms Up. It is an older workout, but it is in two steps, upper body and ab, then lower body, cand back. I like it. I picked it up on Amazon

Mine are people who have had weight loss surgery like I have. I have found on this site that many are not very supportive of WLS so I choose to be friends to those who have and give the needed support.

My question is about leg/hip/butt exercises. I have lost over 240 pounds in the last 20 months. I still have 47 pounds to go to hit a normal BMI. I am doing 5 days of weight training, 3 days lower body and 2 days upper body + cardio daily. I just started the weight training last week so I am not expecting miracles to…

I buy them at my local health food store raw and unsalted. Bring them home and per pound I use 1 teaspoon coconut oil and whatever seasoning I want, mix it up and stick in a 250 oven for about 90 mins. Very yummy. This way you can change the flavor to whatever you like. This week mine is garlic and a habanero infused sea…

I have dropped over 240 pounds and consignment shops, Goodwill and other thrift stores have been great. I never pay more than $5.00 for a pair of jeans. I found a brand new pair of American Eagle jeans for $5.00 and I buy mostly Wranglers and Levis. Those seem to fit me the best with my body type. I don't like low rise…

Here is a good site for the pomegranate info. Alot of restaurants have their menus and nutritional info online. Check to see if the one you are going to does. That will make it easier for you to figure out how much to log. I have had my Fitbit for a week and love it. Keeps you motivated. Good luck in your journey.…

1st of all, what others have said above is true. Don't weigh every day, especially when starting a new program. 2nd don't give up. and 3rd, go back and take a look at your diary for the last two days. There is nothing on your diary except for the two hard boiled eggs that is good for you. Everything is high processed foods…

if you do a search here on the forums for Fitbit, you will come up wih a lot of different posts on it. I have one. I've only been using it for a week. it is really motivating to make you move. I'm still not sure if the calorie expendure is correct.

One thing you have to remember is when a recipe makes a large quantity and the carbs or protein come up as 0 that only means for 1 serving. If you were to eat more than one serving, then you would need to reevaluate it. My Fitness Pal only will give you a count if the total is over 1. if you are using 1 1/2 cups egg whites…

I use Body Fortress, you can buy it at Walmart for $14.99, several flavors and they taste pretty good.
