  • What worked: basically eliminating all grains (this was more a health decision than a weight loss one); finding some workouts that I can do at home; finding a wonderful on-line support group; a diet consisting primarily of fruit, veggies, lean meat, dairy (mostly through yogurt) and healthy fats with very little processed…
  • I've reached 10% of my body weight lost as well! You look fabulous--congratulations!
  • I'm interested in joining as well!
  • I'm going down pretty consistently--24 pounds in 3 months. I usually have around 1200 calories/day, sometimes a little under, sometimes a little over. I don't eat back my exercise calories and try to eat as "clean" as possible. I've been down this road many times before and, for whatever reason, things are easier this time.

  • This is what I've been doing to the past two months. It was difficult for the first few days, but is easy now. I feel so much better physically without the starches. I do eat potatoes once every 10 days or so, but don't remember the last time I had rice or pasta. For lunches, I typically have a salad with loads of veggies,…
  • I used to be a carb-a-holic. When I started on my current weight loss journey, I decided to cut grains almost completely. I feel so much better. I'm not as tired and lethargic, my digestion is better and cravings are almost non-existent. I've lost 7 pounds in the last month and honestly feel that this is the way I need to…
