YUMMY!! Thanks for the idea!

Oh I know, but that's just how it is with sisters - I do it out of love really. And she's really not fat at all, that's why I put it in quotes :)

I certainly hope so! Obesity and the diseases associated with it all run ramped in my family. I'd love to see her switch to a healthier lifestyle. Thanks for all the congratulatory comments everyone! They made this victory even sweeter

Hahahahaaaaa! Nice :)

Won't it cost $200 or more to get your cat declawed anyway? So really, no savings and one very hurt and upset kitty.

I'd sooo watch Fraggle Rock and Muppet Babies again! oh, and I absolutely can not forget about Inspector Gadget!

I think it comes down to exactly that. In my family, it was always my Dad's way or no way. If we stood up for ourselves it was met with anger and usually a long drawn out argument that was completely pointless in the first place and just left everyone bitter. We (my sister and I) learned at a very early age just to let it…

Sorry, the label said "Dairy Free" I take that part back from my post* ** Ok, so I looked again and the Label actaully said "Lactose Intolerant Friendly" not Dairy Free - "Gluten Free" was right next to it and I was all excited so I got mixed up. Sorry for the confusion!

Here's a super easy one for baked fries from Hungry Girl INGREDIENTS: 1 butternut squash (large enough to yield 1 pound once peeled and sliced) 1/8 teaspoon coarse salt, plus more, optional Ketchup, as dip, optional DIRECTIONS: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Peel squash with a vegetable peeler. Slice the ends off the…

That totally just ruined my Friday...

OMG!!! Dunkaroos! Those were a STAPLE in my daily lunch! Gushers too. Sooo gross!!!! All that after my S'mores Pop Tarts for breakfast. And then McDonald's Chicken Nuggets with Sweet n Sour sauce and french fries for dinner. I can't image why I was a fat kid...

I've made a Cous Cous recipe by her that I really love... I really should check out some of her other stuff. Thanks!
-
I'm def going to try that! Thanks!

Oh! I forgot - low on sugar would be good too!

Yum! Thanks:happy:

I did some more checking and it seems this product is already sweetened with Sucralose (Slenda). Sorry!

Muscle Milk makes a variety called "Complete Whey Protein" for post workout that has around 16 grams of protein, 90 calories, and 3 carbs per scoop. I've seen it in chocolate and Vanilla so far - It's ok on it's own, but much better with a bit of stevia and a dash of vanilla extract.

BUMP!!

That sounds like exactly what I need! THANKS!

That sounds GOOD!

I just want to pad my snacks a little bit. I eat a lot of them during the day - usually 4-5 snacks total with the veggies around 10 to 15 calories and the fruit ones topping out at around 100. Since I have so many of them, I just want to add a little bit extra to each one. I know I could always eat more veggies in a…

I like to make an "Apple Pie" variety too. I add 1/3 c oats, 1/3 c water, one single serving package of no-sugar-added applesauce, a packet of truvia, and a dash of cinnamon. After it's done I like to top it with fat free greek yogurt (I love that stuff) & some nuts for crunch.

That sounds AWESOME! I love oats too - and all the stuff you can do with them. It makes me happy :)
-
That DOES sound good! Thanks

Thanks for all the advise! I upped my protein goal slightly since a good part of my protien intake comes from beans and nuts. I don't think I'm overdoing it with the animal protein. Thanks again

You could try red wine vinegar too instead if balsamic - it doesn't have any calories and the flavor is a little less strong (I think anyway) I also like to mix up lime juice, seasoned rice vinegar, and hot sauce to make kind of a spicy dressing. For the most part, vinaigrette based dressings - like an Italian will be a…

I ADORE these noodles!! A HUGE serving of "pasta" for only 40 calories, what's not to love! I personally only find a slight difference in texture, but not really taste from actual pasta - so if people can get past that, I'd agree that they should be tried. One of my favorite Shirataki recipe can be found here:…

Protein!! It's what's your muscles need to repair themselves. You don't have to have it in shake form like all the weight lifting pros will tell you. An increase in meats, beans/lentils will do the trick.
